Well, I'm going to give a try to the LG BH08LS20 because in this moment of my life I can't spend 350 USD to try a OWC burner. I'll post my results here, so everybody will have my experience to help. I've bought the retail version...

OWC simply marks other manifacturers' burner with their logo. For example their Mercury is a Pioneer... so I can buy a pioneer... but anyone have experience with burning Blu-ray discs on Mac?

Blu-ray burners compatibility list Mac osx

Hi to all. I'm new to the forum. I'm searching infos for buying an internal Blu-ray burner for my macpro (early 2009). I've got Toast 10 with the blu-ray plugin, and I want to start to record blu-ray discs for working purposes. I'd like to have a list of known burners that works fine with toast. I know that apple doesn't support this technology for now so I don't want to spend 200 euro for nothing... Is there anybody who knows something?
