One last plea for help burning Blu Ray

I wish I could explain. I was not able to burn any Blu ray that would play in any BR player. As a last ditch effort to save this software, I downloaded that Monte_Carlo_object.dll file that is supposed to be the PS3 patch. I placed it in the directory as instructed, rebooted, and BAM. All Blu ray projects burn successfully, even those projects I had saved from 6 weeks ago. I do not have a PS3 nor have I ever tried to play any BR projects on a PS3. I have no idea why DVDit Pro HD is now working, but am quite happy that it is.

One last plea for help burning Blu Ray

Hours on the phone with Roxio, no joy. Countless different exports to try different stream, No joy. Researching on the web for a month, no joy. Downloaded the little tiny PS3 patch, and PRESTO, JOY at last!!! Now I ask, Why didn't support at Roxio even suggest this? Hmmmmm.

One last plea for help burning Blu Ray

When I wrote the project as an image I saw a BDMV, Certificate, AND AACS folders. Same project written as a volume. I see just a BDMV, Certificate folder. Let me ask something else, with this single video clip project, must there be a playlist? I have nothing in the playlist since it is 1 movie.

    Can't Burn Blu Ray Disc

I, SO, feel your pain!!! No joy for me either.
  5. I am starting with original footage shot with an XH-A1, captured with HDVsplit, edited with PPro CS4, and exported as elementary streams 1440X1080 MPEG-Blu Ray preset, high quality 29.97, NTSC, max render. 1 Main menu, 4 sub menus, 22 chapters (max 6 chapters per menu), 2 hour duration SINGLE asset No motion menus 1 First play 15 second FBI warning image with end action set to Main menu. Elementary streams PCM CBR @ 20000 M frames @ 3 N frames @ 12 (NTSC) (tried 18 & 15 N Frames too) MP@HL Various media brands tried Tried writing volumes, image and direct to disc Rebuilt the entire project from scratch every time I try a new output. Used imgburn to burn volumes and image I get all the way through the process but the disc will not play and I tried it in several Blu Ray players at home, friends and even at Best Buy. The disc seems to be reading in the players, the timer on the player begins but the TV screen remains black until finally the player gives up and goes to STOP. The player at best buy says "disc not formatted". I can play the disc with Cyberlink Power DVD in the same drive it was burned in, but NO other computer will play it either. The guy at best buy said "seems your disc isn't closed" The "open dvd" box is NOT checked. Same elementary streams burned to successful blu ray disc through Encore CS4. I want to use DVDit. The workflow is much easier for me so please don't say, "Well then, just use Encore" That's not the answer I'm looking for. What setting am I missing in DVDit Pro HD????? You folks are doing this successfully and I am not. There must be a simple reason I am failing time after time. I'm using version 6.3 I didn't want to upgrade to 6.4 since I read on here that the "disc image" burn option is removed. To you experts out there, Please help this DVDit Pro HD rookie burn a blu ray. Thanks Jay

Cannot Burn a Blu Ray disc that plays

I have tried 2 different brands, RiData and Verbatim. I don't think the brand of disc is the problem since the same files authored through Encore to the same brand discs will play in the Sony BDP-S350. More suggestions, Please!

Cannot Burn a Blu Ray disc that plays

Nope. In fact I tried it both ways.
  8. I cannot burn a blu ray that will play in my Sony BDP-S350. I have spent all day trying. When I put the disc in, it seems to be initializing but immediately the "pause" indicator is displayed beside the "play" indicator on the BR player display. Same files used in Encore and blu ray disc plays in the Sony BDP-S350. It's just that Encore is so much more trouble to use. DVDit has an easier work flow. The Blu ray discs that won't play in the Sony WILL play with Cyberlink Power DVD in my PC. I updated the firmware in the Sony today. What am I doing wrong?! Just tell me how you guys are getting HD video on a disc that will play in the BR player. I am starting with original footage shot with an XH-A1, captured with HDVsplit, edited with PPro CS4, and exported as elementary streams 1440X1080 MPEG-Blu Ray preset, high quality 29.97, NTSC, max render. 1 menu, 4 chapters, 12 minute clip Profile is high AC3 @ 384 CBR @ 25000 M frames @ 3 N frames @ 18 (NTSC) (tried 12 & 15 N Frames too) as for MP@HL, in PPro it says "Profile: High". I think that is MP@HL I've tried burning directly to the disc and burning an image that I then burn to the disc. Same results both ways. I'm about at the end of my rope feeling like buying this software was a mistake. Help if you can. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

"End of File -10003" Help needed

All is not well. I cannot burn a blu ray that will play in my Sony BDP-S350. I have spent all day trying. Same files used in Encore and blu ray disc plays in the Sony. It's just that Encore is so much more trouble to use. DVDit has an easier work flow. What am I doing wrong?! Jay

"End of File -10003" Help needed

4 menu buttons Profile is high AC3 @ 384 CBR @ 25000 M frames @ 3 N frames @ 18 (NTSC) Closed GOP is not an option for exporting .m2v elementary stream with the MPEG2 Blu-Ray preset. It is only an option for exporting a .mpg which is not an elementary stream. Is GOP closed in the MPEG2 Blu-Ray preset? Appreciate the input.

"End of File -10003" Help needed

I exported the elementary streams from PPro again and was able to see the process to completion ONCE. I tested it with 1 menu and no chapters. After re-authoring the whole thing again with 4 menus and 22 chapters, I got erro message after error message. They were all differnt. I gave up and decided something in my authoring was bad. Started a new test project 12 min vid and successfully burned it to a blu ray disc that will play in my computer but NOT in my Sony BDP-S350 even after the latest firmware update done today. This is nuts! Just tell me how you guys are getting HD video on a disc that will play in the BR player. I am starting with original footage shot with an XH-A1, captured with HDVsplit, editted with PPro CS4, and exported as elementary streams 1440X1080 MPEG-Blu Ray preset, high quality 29.97, max render, CBR@ 20000, GOP 3 & 12. DVD authoring is a breeze and actually the video is extremely sharp but I want to be able to deliver blu ray as well. Input appreciated. Thanks.

"End of File -10003" Help needed

I am trying to produce a Blu Ray image from DVDit Pro HD. The dvd is completely authored using 1 two hour movie (original work) which was exported from Premiere CS4 1440X1080 High quality, max render, 20Mbps mpeg. I have tried this project several times using both the stream I described and as an elementary stream of the same movie. DVDit Pro HD hangs on the "adding movie my_movie Vetl (sp?)" screen for a while the an error pops up that says "end of file -10003". Called Roxio. They said it was a new problem that they had never heard of before. Basically, they were NO help. I also ran the same file through Canopus Procoder to produce an elementary DVD stream NTSC 720X480. Great quality!! I imported the m2v and the wav into DVDit Pro HD and successfully authored the DVD version of this movie. No mater what I do I get the "end of file -10003" when trying to burn an authored Blu ray version of this project. Help!
