Toast 11.1 And Managment Of Image File .sd2F

Except the most recent version ofToast is hanging when attempting to mount said sd2f files, necessitating a reboot to quit Toast. What else can open sd2f files?

"an Error Has Occurred Recompressing The Video"

I can't believe this 'bug' hasn't been fixed yet. This really reflects poorly on Roxio that they released an update that broke dvd compression in .07 and was not fixed in .08. What was fixed? Toast 10 Titanium v10.0.8 Removes erroneous pre-release message on launch How about fixing the erroneous message that prevents functionality!

    Recompressing error after 10.7 update

This is a pretty big bug. How did this pass through QA? Things like this, and there have been many in recent iterations of Toast, that have me looking for a new DVD burning software. Unfortunately, Roxio has the mac market to itself. Roxio definitely needs some competition to keep them focused on making quality software

    TOAST 10.0.6 Fit-to-DVD not working?

"The resultant disk image is the same size as the DVD Folder I am using as source" I noticed this too when using 10.0.6. The single layer disc images are the same size as the original source. They burn correctly in Toast though. This sucks for me as I use an old 60GB drive to hold the disk images and now I often can only queue half as many jobs because the compressed disc image sizes are not compressed. On a possibly related note I noticed that while writing the image to disk it pauses for several minutes at 17% or 31% or 73% but eventually finishes the write correctly and I can burn the disc images to single layer discs.
