What Program Do I Use To View Videos Burned With Toast 11?

OK I see what you are getting at. It seems that I would have to buy Toast for Windows to view on the laptop. I have Toast for the Mac on my iMac. Thanks for your help.

What Program Do I Use To View Videos Burned With Toast 11?

I'm not sure, here is what I think you want. The preference settings are NTSL, F4V, Apple TV Best, Mpeg-4 AVC 8 Mbps, HD DVD Video. I hope this is the information you need to help.
  3. This is probably a dumb question. I bought a new Dell laptop running Windows 8. I edit and burn videos using a Mac on Toast 11. What program do I get for my laptop so I can view what I've burned onto disc? Thanks for any help. Tom in La Habra

Could Not Record To Disc......too Many Files Open

I was burning Tivo videos. I have had a good run of problem free editing until my DVD drive died. While I'm on the subject, can I edit, encode and save the video until I can burn it? If I can where can I find the information to do it? Thanks for input and the help you have givin me in the past. Tom

Could Not Record To Disc......too Many Files Open

I'm unsure what you mean by what setting? The DVD drive is plugged into the iMac in the back. There might be a problem with the drive. I'll post after I replace the drive.
  8. I'm now getting this error "Could Not Record to Disc Because Too Many Files Are Open" I updated from 11.0.4 (worked great) to 11.1. My DVD drive died so I bought an external Mashida DVD drive from OWC. Still testing to see what works. I got this error when trying to burn a video to -R disc. Toast 11 crached when I tried to use a +RW disc (I think that is the DVD drive). I attached a tiff file of the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Tips & Tricks

In your Tips and Tricks about Roxio Converted Items on 3/17/11 does it say that I can edit a video, encode and save it in Roxio Converted Items. Where do I find more information about this? Thank You for all the contributions you have made to this forum.

Thinking Of Upgrading To Mavericks, Will It Hose Toast?

I'm thinking of buying a new iMac that comes with Mavericks. Can't I partition the drive and install Snow Loepard (10.6.8) on that if Toast 11.2 doesn't work on Mavericks?

    Selective Update Installation

I tried writing a data file to a dvd, and got a error "0x80020022" (disc communication problem). Backed up the computer (external drive) and tried repairing the disc permissions, didn't work. Thinking about a complete format and reinstall. I can read from the dvd but not write to it.

    Selective Update Installation

Its to late to save 11.0.4 it was uninstalled. It seems there is more to the story. I tried iDVD and got a multiplexing error trying to burn to dvd that way. Could something be wrong with my iMac? It was purchased in 2010.

    Selective Update Installation

It was crashing after encoding and starting to write to disc. I attached one error message that I got. I'll test further and let you know what happens when. So does Toast 11.2 work very well with IOS 10.6.8? I don't want to make the move to Mountain Lion. Toast Error.tiff
