    I couldn't get Roxio capture to play back while capturing same as you. I downloaded Audacity software http://audacity.sourceforge.net It played audio while recording from my ION turntable using the USB.

    You need to restore the default playback device @ your control panel

    Error Code means You are missing part of the program.
