    Sonic update manager

Yep, folks like me. I'm having the same problem, only I love sonic and want to keep it. I know it has been 4 1/2 years since someone last posted, but it's worth a shot right? Also, how do you find the Sonic forum? I keep getting routed back to Roxio. Any advice is appreciated.

    Sonic Update Manager

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows xp media edition. I am running IE8. Sonic Digital Media LE 7 came preinstalled on my laptop. I've had my computer since 2006 and recently had to do a pc restore. Since then, at start up and when you open the program, the sonic update manager tries to install from a disc that I don't have. I can't cancel or x out of these pop up boxes, they just keep opening back up. I have to end the program through the task manager. I tried to repair the program through add/remove programs, but that also requires a disc. I have looked for a solution at dell, which leaves me unsatisfied. I noticed another topic in this forum similar to mine, but with no replies. I have no media, at the moment, to test the program's functionality, but as far as I can tell it appears to be working properly. Any advice? Thanks.
