How Important Is It To Verify The Burn?

I've found that skipping verification doesn't affect playback, but it does affect the ability to access and convert the vob files in the VIDEO_TS folder. I'm a Mac user and often need to access those files for re-editing projects. I use MPEG Streamclip to convert vob files to dv, and it fails to complete the process and reports errors with unverified data.

    Dvd Menu Set In Stone?

I'm not familiar with Warp, but I am a longtime user of iDVD and Toast Titanium. I'm currently using iDVD 6.0.3, Toast Titanium 11.0.4, and the El Capitan Browser. I've had no problems except for occasional issues getting Toast to recognize certain blank discs. As far as using Toast to create menus, forget about doing anything creative. The menus are extremely limited, and don't even allow for naming chapters.

Extract Only Audio From Video Files?

I use MPEG Streamclip 1.9.2 to extract audio from DVDs, then SoundStudio 3.5.6 to separate chapters, then Toast 11 to burn to disc. Sound Studio is not free, so you might want to browse around for freeware, like Audacity.

    El Capitan Crash?

I've had no problems with Toast11 and El Capitan.

Question: Best Way To Burn Apple Prores To Bd

I've always used "best sitting," too, with satisfactory results, i.e., no coasters. Then again, I've never tried anything else, so you can take my experience or leave it.

Toast 11 And Os X El Capitan

This worked for me: https://discussions..../thread/6770253 Not ideal, but I can at least use iMovie 6.0.3. Maybe it will work for STAGE.

Toast 11 And Os X El Capitan

I had the iMovie file on an external hard drive. I moved it to the desktop of the new MacBook Pro, and the editing process ran very smoothly.

Toast 11 And Os X El Capitan

    >My old iMovie 6.0.3 is incompatible with El Capitan, which is a bummer since the changes made after that version eliminated some of the most useful features, such as: useful audio editing capabilities (they took away audio track isolation, audio enhancements and more); basic visual effects like video overlays for green screen, split screen etc.; and time code displays. I spoke with Apple about this, and a fix sin't going to happen. They want you to upgrade to iMovie 10. >A workaround for Yosemite is discussed here that I hope works for El Capitan: https://discussions..../thread/6770253 It works, but not well. Quite slow and balky. Fortunately, I have an old MacBook Pro with an older OS, so I can use iMovie 6.0.3 there.

    >A workaround for Yosemite is discussed here [for the iMovie 6.0.3 issue] that I hope works for El Capitan: https://discussions..../thread/6770253 It worked for El Capitan, but it's a pain. I hope they fix it. >My Apple User I.D. isn't recognized, so I can't update [iPhoto, Final Cut Pr0 10 and iMovie 10 . I figure that can be fixed with a call to Apple. Tried their on-line instructions, but no luck. Will have to call.

Toast 11 And Os X El Capitan

My versions of iPhoto, Final Cut Pro 10, and iMovie 10 all have to be updated (requires iPhoto 9.6.1, FCP 10.2.2 and iMovie 10.0.9). My Apple User I.D. isn't recognized, so I can't update them. I figure that can be fixed with a call to Apple.
