    Play Blu-Ray Disc

Media Suite 10 from Cyber Link came with the player, but it was in the box and I missed it. I was very close to buy PowerDVD 15 Ultra or WinDVD Pro 11. It works to play Blu-ray movies now. Thank you!

    Play Blu-Ray Disc

I bought NXT Pro 4 yesterday and today I received my Blu-ray writer/player, Pioneer BDR-UBK. Updated with the latest firmware 1.34 I have burned DVD:s and CD:s with sucess. I can play DVD:s and CD:s. WinDVD (version 10.8) won´t play a Blu-ray: "Media not supported". I installed all updates during the installation and I have the Blu-ray plugin. Blu-ray is an option in MyDVD, as well as DVD and AVCHD. NXT Pro 4 is registrated and activated. I´m running Windows 8.1 x64 with updates. What am I missing?

    Windows Firewall With Advanced Security

Thanks! I don´t know how I did my search. I have 4 OS and I guess I searched the wrong OS... A new search in Windows 8.1 came up with the same result as you did. It is the 4th agent.exe, C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\Connect\11 that is to be used in the outbound rule. Now it works to do a manual search for updates with Windows Firewall with Advanced Security set to Block all.
  4. I have Windows 8.1 and Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. When I click on "Check for Updates..." via Help in Roxio Creator NXT 2, the Software Manager fail to check for updates. If I change Outbound connections to Allow in the Firewall, the Software Manager can check for updates without any problem. Previously I had Creator 9 installed and had an outbound rule via ProgramFiles (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\agent.exe with the permission Allow. That worked fine with Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. I am not able to find equivalent .exe file in Roxio Creator NXT 2. Appreciate any idea to create an Outbound Rule to allow "Check for Updates...".
  5. I have no problem to update other programs, with outbound connections set to Block in Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, since I have created outbound rules for each program. No problem to activate Windows either. And as I wrote, with Creator 9 it worked to update after creating an Outbound rule to allow UpdateService\agent.exe, but I cannot find the equivalent in Creator 2011.
  6. I have Windows 7 and Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. When I click on "Check for Updates..." via Help in Roxio Creator 2011, the Software Manager fail to check for updates. I am not able to find equivalent in Creator 2011. Appreciate any idea to create an Outbound Rule to allow "Check for Updates...".
