    Burned Dvd's Won't Play Back

I have two MS 2008 R2 servers running a domain network, I don't know if this could be the difference; I can access the files and create the DVD, preview the project all OK, when I burn it; NO GOOD.

This post has taken on a life of it's own! Guys, I'm happy with the solution running on one computer. It works!

A network resource is a shared folder located on a server on our internal network.

    Burned Dvd's Won't Play Back

I didn't pull video from other network resources, I captured video from VCR and placed on the networked resource and then tried to create a DVD from the networked resource. C2010 didn't like that. It only seems to work for me when all components reside on local disks. If you have a way to do it from a networked computer, I'd love to know. Regards,

Problem is solved! I was able to create DVD's with menus, but only on LOCAL disks. I cannot use network shared disks to store movie files for later use in the DVD Creation. Very strange that the Software cannot do this. Anyway, thanks for your concern.

I JUST created a playable DVD, however, I had to do so by "excluding disk menu from DVD, BD project" setting on the new project pop-up window when creating this DVD. I really want the ability to create DVD menus; what could be the problem?

No, DVD's won't play on stand-alone player or WMP. The old ones do and all are created, and played back on C2010

    Burned Dvd's Won't Play Back

I have created several DVD projects that have worked successfully when created in the following manner: 1: capture old VCR tapes with Roxio Video Capture USB device. 2: create new DVD project with MYDVD using the captured video movie. 3: Edit the video movie by trimming the start and end points 4: Preview of the project plays perfectly on PC 5: after buning the project and capturing the .iso file I subsequently burn to DVD. 6: Newly burned DVD's, when loaded into drive, will start cineplayer automatically. It will show "Play H:/" which is the proper drive, but will not ever play the DVD, but will finally go to "program not responding" and grey out. Older dvd's I have burned in this manner play without issue. I cannot figure out the problem. any help will be greatly appreciated.
