I have changed the size of some photos. size doen't appear to be the issue. This IS a very common problem in Roxio. I have a Friend with the same problem. This disscussion grp has had several people having the same problem. I ha done Everything suggested to me and nothing changes the outcome. It appears to me to be a software issue that Roxio fails to admit to!

Yes I changed the encodeing from Hardware to Software; either way makes no difference. I will double check immage size however I am pretty sure that the are all the same size. It appears the this is a glitch in Roxio's software...that is not acceptable. John

Thanks, I am using Creator 2011 and then using VideoWave. I have used 2 different DVD burners, I have copied it as a video file on my hard drive. all showing the same results...It appears to happen witin the encodeing process as you can see it happening in the preview screen! I have been told to update the firmware...Roxio Says that this can be a "risky busness" Yes of course I am aware that Roxio supports JPEG however The live Support technician said that Roxio does not support JPEG but does support PPG! LOL

I have have a recurring problem which is apparently common with this software. There seems to be a problem of "replacing" random jpeg files with BLACK. The Text effect does however show up. I Have read about other folks having this same problem here in this discussion grp and tried all the remedies. I have spent over 4hrs on the phone with techicians...one of which said that Roxio does not support JPEG files...Is there any help out there??
