    Can't Capture from a DVD

OK, new issue. I am able to convert the .vob files to .mpg and pull up in Roxio. But, the DVD files I have for one video has 3 .vob files. The only one that has audio is the first one, after bringing up in Roxio. The only two do not have audio. Is there a way to merge the file sinto one the keep the audio? It appears that the DVD recorder adds a .inf file as a data locator file. Help again. RDM

    Can't Capture from a DVD

I am sorry. I do not understand what you are asking me to do. I have tried to play in Media Player. I am now able to play and view the video, bu am loosing the audio. If I play in Media player, it is ok. When I try to put into Roxio, I loose the audio and the video looks distorted. Help.

    Can't Capture from a DVD

I was able to open, but found the video picture was distorted by the picture being narrowed. It did play fine and sounded ok, but the picture started at 4x3 and ended up 2x3. Also, when I pulled into Roxio, the sound was eliminated... It then asked me to find the audio. What happened to the audio. I know I am new at this and appreciate your help getting going. I have almost 8 hours of recorded video to edit and copy to DVD's. Thanks.

I tried this and the video is narrower than the original. Is there a format change to consider? RDM

    Can't Capture from a DVD

I have copied a video from my TV/DVD recorder. I can play the DVD using various programs, but cannot copy or edit the video using Roxio. Roxio is not recognizing the .vob file. Do I need to convert the file using another software package first, or am I not using the correct command in Roxio?

I also have the same issue. I have finalized the DVD and tried copying it using Roxio. It does not recognize the .vob format. Does Roxio not convert .vob files?
  8. I have recorded a DVD from my recorder and finalized. Then, put into my computer. The computer only recognizes and views it as Cineplayer. But Roxio doesn't recoginze and allow me to copy on my computer. Help. What have I done wrong?
