  1. I have spent almost an entire week trying to set up to record my LP's from a Technics Turntable to my Windows 7 SP1 laptop and burn to CD's. I have the ADS Tech Instant Music RDX-150 unit which switches from RCA input to USB output and a pre-amp between the ADS Tech box and my turntable. I originally had Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 on my PC and it apparently will not run on Windows 7, so I spent over $60 to download Roxio Creator 2011 and had all sorts of issues getting that installed, but that's a different story. My problem now is I can't seem to figure out how to configure the USB Audio Device to work properly so I can set the levels before recording, and whatever recording I try to do comes out awful (much worse than when I was using EMC 9). I am at my wit's end on this thing as I had planned to spend my vacation week happily recording vinyl to CD and I have yet to do so after a week. The Roxio product just doesn't seem to play with the ADS Tech equipment. HELP!!!

    Audio when converting LP's

Since this thread seems to touch on some of my issues, I will post my issue here as well as on a separate thread. Windows 7 and EMC 9

My Windows 7 machine just this week got upgraded to SP1 and since that time, I've had the need to reinstall Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 Suite, but it simply won't install. Has anyone else had success in installing this software in the Win7SP1 environment? Which versions of Roxio are compatible with Win7 SP1?
  4. After several years of having the program, I am finally getting around to using my Easy Media Creator 9 to convert my LP's to CD's. The problem I am running into is how to add the album cover in as an Audio Tag so it will display when the finished CD is played. I click on the "Browse" button next to the box that shows "Not specified" and open the album cover (jpg file)from my desktop and click ok, and it shows up, but as soon as I press Done and then go back, the art has disappeared! What I really would like to do is specify the track art just once (I guess you would call that "album art"), but don't know how this is done either. Can someone please help me? Thank you.
