    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

In Spin Doctor when saving multiple active tracks from a vinyl album as MP3's to the iTunes library everything seems fine until I go to the iTunes program to verify a sucessful transfer. The multiple tracks all play as the first recording on the vinyl album. Each vary in length (as do the originals on the album), in some cases the recording (song) might be cut short and in other cases the file will include part of the following song on the album. I updated Toast 10 but that did not improve the problem. I then updated Spin Doctor and the update required that I enter a key number. I entered the key that came with the Toast 10 bundle and it was rejected as invalid. Now I cannot open Spin Doctor to see if the first problem has been corrected. I am running OSX 10.6.8, 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 800MHz SDRAM, with over 150GB of space remaining.

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

I was able to get Toast up and apparently running again...using your recent instructions. Spin Doctor is still having the same problems as my first post on this thread. However I am very happy that I am back to this point again. I will check out Sound Saver, thank you for that advice. Perhaps I will start another thread here regarding Spin Doctor to see if anyone will happen along with some more ideas. tsantee...thank you for your time and effort with this. I have learned many things along the way. chashans.

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

I removed the Toast 10 Titanium software using the instructions provided on Roxio's website. I then reinstalled it and checked out Spin Doctor. It did not work. Meanwhile I received an Toast update for Toast 10 which I attempted to install...it failed (long story here). Now in the Toast 10 folder only Spin Doctor remains. At this point I am convinced that I should upgrade to Toast 11. My question is...should I remove Toast 10 completely again...or how to proceed before installing the new Toast 11 upgrade? Thank you.

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

I trashed the cdsdd.plist and it still asks for a key. Attached is the info on the Spin Doctor that remains in the Toast 10 folder.

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

Is this the cdspindoctor plist file? (see attached). I want to be careful what I delete. I think that the original Spin Doctor file was replaced by the update download. One of my original questions was "where would it be on my computer if it were replaced by the new download. I did not rename it...but might have dragged it out of the application folder to the desktop so that the update would install (I realize now that I should have simply renamed it and left it there). Where might I find that file now? Wouldn't it be easier to uninstall and reinstall toast 10 using the CD?

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

I tried what you suggested several times...I still get the request for the key (see attached). As I have the original toast 10 Titanium installation disk I am considering completely uninstalling the software (as per the instructions on Roxio's website) and reinstalling the programs. Good idea?

    Toast 10 And Spin Doctor

Thank you for the prompt reply. Pretty confusing for me to know the difference between the two versions. I thought that a Spin Doctor update was a Spin Doctor update. In any case the bundled version has now disappeared. Seems to me that I replaced it with the standalone update version. I do not have a key for the standalone version so I cannot open the program. Where can I now find the bundled version (and how to identify it), that was displaced, so that I can drag it back into the Toast folder and apply your suggestions? By the way...Spin Doctor worked very well for the several years that I have used it. Appreciate your help.
