  1. HI I just installed a new hard drive to a better laptop that would support my game capture device. I uninstalled it from my old computer hoping that would allow to install on my newer one I was wrong it say product key is invalid. is there a way can do it??? thanks
  2. I've been trying to understand the language of the roxio and why it will not work for me. I have the Setup properly and my computer is more than enough to use the Software, but for some odd reason the software that comes with the roxio is uncooperative. As soon as I start up the RGC program I get greeted with "Select Device Fail." or something like that and then it goes to "No Signal." My Roxio is clearly plugged in and is glowing bright. My Computer Recognizes it as well in device manager, but why wont it work. There's no sound indicating I'm on the right path, there's no video input of any sort, I cant even use the options tab because the program will crash and when none of this is a problem, more problems arise. My Roxio will no show the enable feature of the "Start Capture" and "Live Stream." I had such high hopes for this device, but it is rapidly turning into regret, seeing as the setup is not so simple as many said it was. I'm getting ready to send the device back, nearly had for less than a day and I saddens me to know the device I paid for, isn't doing what I paid for it to do. I'm asking for help because somewhere inside there is a techie that wants to see this device work at its best. Please help and list all Information you wish for me to give, I am at your mercy, begging. RGC_Log_12252013_0.txt
  3. Hello. I have been trying for around 3 hours to correctly set up my brand new Roxio Game Capture with my Xbox 360. I have watched many set up videos and many settings videos but I still can not find a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_KPVhSP8xw
  4. My Roxio game capture card stops randomly. It's hard to describe what I mean. I will start to record a game play, when it's done I will review it to see if I messed up or something, but it will only show like 11 seconds of a 10 minute video. Also it would be in the middle of the video not the start or end. This is my second issues with the Roxio and I'm planning on a refund if this takes to long to fix.
  5. Hi, a few months ago I had bought a Roxio Game Capture and in the beggining it worked well but a few weeks ago I started recording again and my tv simple goes black when I plugged in the Roxio Device to my computer....My TV just stays black while I am recording and my computer records it but in a strange way (You see the imagem but in lines).... 7. hey guys, I have a huge problem and the fact I have to pay $25 to get help doesn't help, my software freezes up and closes when I try to narrate the video, I tried all the options on the help pages for the problem but with no success, on top of that my computer has now stopped working so I am using a new computer now. I need to re install the software but no longer have the disc. if any guru's see this, please forward my details or at least send me a message, I need to re-download. PLEASE, Thank you so much, rough93
  8. Sometimes, when recording, the Roxio Game Capture program just freezes. Any attempt to click stop recording and the program fully crashes to the desktop. This appears to happen completely randomly. I found I seem to crash easier if I record for longer than about 20 minutes, my computer is hot, or if I'm using game audio as my line in (instead of my mic) My question is, how do I fix this? Here are my specs: Windows 7 Home Premium (Activated and Genuine) 3 GB's of RAM Intel Core 2 Duo (T8100 @ 2.10 GHz) Intel GMA 965 Made by Dell Is it my specs that are causing the problem? Or is it something else?

    Issue With Capturing Video

Ive set up my cables for my Roxio game capture for the xbox correctly however when I go onto the program to record it comes up on the capture preview screen distorted. I have put a picture of the issue can anybody help me sort out this issue?
  10. My computer got hardrive error and everything is gone. I used to have the ISO file copied onto my drive but that was gone too. I only have a picture of my CD, cause I went back to China from Canada in June, and CD is left in Canada. I downloaded the 1.25 GB version of Roxio Game Capture software, but apparently it's not for pro(or any other reasons), that my Serial Number simply doesn't work(mine start with KL-). So can anyone just send the ISO to me? Or a link please? Then I will make it available all time with my BOX/DROPBOX cloud online. I thought I can get it from Roxio, but apparently that against Roxio's policy: no digital in Stone age. Thanks.
  11. When I capture a gameplay i find that the audio will speed up and slow down throughout the capture and when I try to sync both my audio, which I capture separately, and my also separately captured webcam matching the audio is impossible. Is this a common issue that I can get fixed? What should I do? Thanks!!!
  12. So, that's happening. After having issues with Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, I uninstalled it, and tried to reinstall it and this is what it results in. I'm on Windows 8 Pro. I've attached my log file ZIP archive. Also attached the image above just in case it doesn't show up. I'll provide anymore info needed. Please and thank you! LogFile 13-04-20 05-44.zip
  13. I wanted to buy this product, but I have a question, anyone who has the product can answer honestly. I only have one monitor, and I want to live stream playing my PS3. I was told you need to connect cords to your computer and TV. My monitor has a HDMI port. May I use my monitor instead? I use my monitor for my PS3, Xbox, and PC. I can switch inputs with a push of a button. So will this product work for me?

Wii U Capture With No Tv

Hey guys, I was just wondering if my roxio game cap would record from my Wii U even if I don't hook up the roxio to my tv. There's no reason it shouldn't, but, does the roxio record record to the pc even if it's not hooked up to a tv.

  19. OK I really hate to complain but I feel really angry about the software I purchased a little over 12 months ago. I brought the PC game capture software and whilst I will say the video production is quite good the actual PC game capture has hardly ever worked properly. I mainly play World of Warcraft and of course have the latest expansion, Mists of Pandaria, however the Roxio PC game capture that I brought will not capture game footage in Directx 11. If I however change the game to play in DirectX 9 it will record, but my point is my DirectX 11 is much better quality graphics and I want to play it in DirectX 11 not DirectX 9. Im of the understanding that the new Roxio PC game capture will record DirectX 11. The original software will not. So basically I have purchased a product that within a 12 month time frame will not capture game video. Guild Wars 2 I cannot even find an option to run it in DirectX 9 so it wont record this it all.# So to sum up = game capture software that will not capture game footage. Also why take away the option of redownloading your software. If you dont backup then you could lose your program. Mine is backed up but I know other gamers have had issues. This is rather stupid. As a consumer I feel totally let down in Roxio products and have a lack of confidence in a customer satisfying response to this thread or to any of my issues. I hope this post serves as a"Think before you buy" to future Roxio customers.

    Pc Locks Up

Hello everyone my name is Jesse, a friend of mine and I have just purchased the HDpro and we are having some troubles with it and I was looking for some advise. The whole software seems to lock up both of our PC's. It has locked up mine 3 times and his 1 time. It has locked up my PC once while capturing, once while trying to edit and once while it was just idle, the software was just open(XBOX was on at this time and was at Halo 4 title screen, so did have a little something going on. On his PC it locked up today while he was editing. Once again this is not just the software locking up but entire system lock up, blank screen and humming noise from speakers. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with this as well and if so what can be done to resolve it. I was wondering if it was possible that our graphics cards were not capable of handling the video portion coming through this software? I have a Dell Inspirion 580, Windows 7 64bit, 8gb RAM(4-2gb cards), Sandybridge i5 processor (3.2ghz@650), on whatever motherboard came with this PC. Now my suspected bottleneck here is my graphics card which is a NVIDIA Geforce 220, very out dated I know. The only thing that I know of my friends PC is that his card is a NVIDIA Geforce 610. Now does this sound like it could possibly be the problem or am I going in the completely wrong direction? I have been thinking of upgrading my card for sometime now to a EVGA gtx650 superclocked and since my 300w 18amp power supply isn't enough going to a Corsair the is at 430w and 32amp(12 volt rail). Though I am not sure what exactly to look for in a power supply, but that is beside the point. Just looking for some help and advise at this point though Thanks
  21. As time has passed me by this evening, I've been trying to find out what the trouble is with my new GameCap. I've followed the instructions, used some common sense, researched (and done some more research), but I have found no resolve. My set up is as follows; Xbox RCA IN, Red+White into the designated Audio ports Yellow into the designated Video Port One would assume that the USB port is connected to the laptop, via. the main USB 2.0 port that is hard-wired into the motherboard (on the left-hand side, along with the other in/output ports such as audio, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, and power). RCA OUT, Red, White and Yellow into the designated Audio and Video ports, which lead to the three RCA ports that are on the TV. Now, with that setup, my Roxio Game Capture software is not reading any colour (the preview screen is only showing black+white live playback) whereas my TV is showing both colour and sound (the sound is working on the TV, too). I'm beginning to think that it's the device itself that's the issue, but I have also heard tell that it may be the USB port, or the USB cable. Is anyone able to shed any light on the situation? I would hate to have to return such a wonderfully acclaimed product, only because of what appears to be a very mundane problem. Kindest regards to the Roxio Staff and it's community, ~Dan.
  22. Hello. I am having trouble installing Roxio Game Capture on my computer. I have windows 7 and every time i initiate the download, it stops halfway through and says the the installation process has been interuppted. I cannot figure out how to fix this problem and some help with it would be much appreciated!
  23. I bought my Roxio game capture and i love it loads. However, I am getting very fraustrated with it because when i am recording my xbox 360 gameplay footage it laggs in a way witch when i watch the replay of the footage i have just captured, it speeds up, i have checked every setting and it is on a 1.0X speed setting which i have been told is right, the reason it is speeding up is because my computer specs can't handle the roxio game capture and so it laggs while i am recording and so when i watch the replay back it tries to make up for the lagg by speeding up, so really i need to know how to get rid of lag, or unless this isn't my problem, i will note my computer specs below. MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile M500, 4.0GB RAM, AMD880G With Radeon HD 4200 I Really want to record my gameplay footage without lagg, i love the quality of the videos and i will be sad to not be able to record because of a silly reason of Lag Please help ASAP Thank you. PS: Very sorry for bad grammar and spelling, i have done this fast.

    Too Many Problems

I hate this thing. I have an Xbox 360 Slim and the capture card only captures in a fuzzy black and white. Also its a puzzle to figure out how to get it plugged in, because i don't have an hdmi cable or whatever it is they require. All i have is the standard red, white and yellow component cable and an older, non-HD TV. If anyone can help me with this, i would appreciate it. This cap card is god awful.
  25. I just purchased roxio game capture today but when the software tries to install it fails and says "roxio game capture wizard was interrupted" please help. I am on windows 7
