    RGC Pro HD to OBS with Nintendo switch

    So i bought the roxio for streaming, but when i first got it everything worked fine until at a certain point the resolutions wasn't good anymore and after time it wasn't showing up anymore on my OBS. So i wonder, is it my converter (HDMI to DVI) or is it the roxio? If you have answer for me it would be helpfull. Thanks again LinkleCrafty

    There are a few things. First the Software Update Manager is no longer working since a Windows Update Months ago. Does no difference system is Windows 7 or above. I hope that you can fix this. Than there is a feature missing for capturing gameplay sound and recording a microphone at the same time as mix. There is a Option PAL_720p/1080i that is not useable. Roxio Game Capture always switch back to NTSC_M (i am using PAL Gaming Consoles) OBS - Open Broadcaster Studio can Capture much better Video Quality than the Game Capture Software why is this so ? And can you please tell us the right settings for capturing with best quality ?

    So OBS has FINALLY made a test build for the new Multiplatform for Windows. It includes the support of Roxio GameCAP HD Pro. (I don't know about the Roxio GameCAP Standard) This is what ALOT of people have been waiting for and I decided to tell you guys!!!!!! REMEMBER: THIS IS A TEST BUILD.     Okay so I was wondering if it is ever going to be possible to add the Roxio Game capture HD pro to the Add video Capture Device option in OBS. I have asked on OBS forums and they said it was up to Roxio. I know I can use the capture in screen option but then the audio is not linked up.

    So, I've always streamed to twitch using the software received with the RGC but now i'm wanting the stream to look more professional using OBS. Many tutorials say that you should perform a monitor capture whilst having the preview window in the RGC software in fullscreen. sounded simple... But for some reason i can't see the game being shown in OBS but can in the RGC software. Here's a screenshot with the RGC software and OBS software side by side. Any help would be awesome!

    First thing i want to say, nothing on me pc can find the Xbox that is projected on me screen, i can see it with my eyes, but if i use obs Windows capture i only see purple same with a screenshot like this http://prntscr.com/614g61 Can someone help me pls?, i bought it for streaming with obs.. but Even Cam capture with the Roxio i get the 6 colors, and windows or monitor capture it only shows if i have obs on hit, so its transparant like that.. i want to record it and show you so you will understand better but ya... in recordings you only see purple...

    I find the capture software from Roxio is flawed as heck, and before i used OBS with a cheap easycap and it seems somethings that easycap and obs threw out some better stuff then the Roxio default and only capture software...

    hey im having an isue with my roxio HD PRO capture card, for some reason any time I try to get it in obs, xsplit, or even a screen shot it shows the actual game capture as just a purple screen, as seen in this photo. but to game capture its self was not purple, this is what it actually looked like. I had to take that one with a cell phone, but you can see there is actually a game in the game capture. I have tried it with disabled aero and enabled, so that doesent seem to be the issue. my graphics card is the gtx geforce 750 ti if that matters, I had a cheaper MSI card in before did the same thing so i dont think thats the issue. As much as i would love to use the build in streaming for roxio HD Pro, im pretty sure we all know the issue with that, trying to stream to twitch.

    Lately I've been having a problem with Roxio. I use OBS (Open brodcaster) and when I try to use screen region to capture the Roxio preview screen, I get a purple screen where the preview screen is. I have windows 8 so I cant disable aero theme like other solutions said. I also have AMD graphics card so I cant do the Nividia solution. I used to be able to capture it this way, but my windows 8 updated and now it does the purple screen. Can someone please help.
