  1. I've tried to export the same video through VideoWave five times now. The editing goes fine: I make my cuts, add transitions, insert music, etc. But when the time comes to export it as a useable MP4 video file, it crashes my PC. I'm running Windows 7, it gets about halfway through the exporting process, then the computer freezes and I get the blue screen of death. Any ideas why, and how to fix it?

    Constant Freezing, Will Not Quit

Ever since I got this thing a month ago I've had nothing but issues with the software, both the capture and editing software. The capture software *usually* works but every now and then it just doesn't work for the day and I get nothing but freezing. For the editing software it's just generally very very sluggish and freezes a lot. 30 minutes ago the capture software decided to freeze shortly after opening, and I pressed End Task.. and IT STILL HASN'T QUIT. Here are my system specs in case they are relevant: Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 4GB RAM GTX 560 Windows 8-64 bit
  5. When clicking the the desktop shortcut to start Roxio Media Creator NXT2 Pro on a Windows 8 pc, the application starts to load and displays the splash screen, that lists all the modules that are loading. As soon as it gets to "Loading Roxio Media Creator NXT2 Pro", windows displays "Roxio Creaor has stopped working...." I have tried the following: 1) repair the installation 2) run as administrator 3) compatibility mode - windows 7 the program just crashed on load and there is no way to use roxio. Jan

    Cannot Output Video

I have just purchased Creator NXT2. I created a short video ( 57 seconds) consisting of 3 video clips, 5 photos, background music track and titles. I have tried various outputs - Youtube, it spins for awhile and then the system says the application is nonresponsive. I tried direct output to a video file onto my PC and it just crashes. I tried outputting to Facebook and it just crashes. Any ideas?
  7. NXT Pro was hanging in most of its application, on my Dell M1710, with 4GB of memory and 60 GB of free space on the 320 GBHD. So I uninstalled it using the Add/Remove applet in Control panel. Partway through the install the blue screen of death came up, and I have not been able to reboot my laptop. Any help would be appreciated.
  8. Ok, I recently upgraded my Roxio Creator Starter to NXT b/c I needed to edit some music. I already had a video editor, but I'm about to start working on a video and I thought I would play with this since I spent the money on it. Well I can't really even get started!! If I try to "save as" it just crashes. I'm like, seriously??? Can anyone help b/c this is just ridiculous.

Toast 11 Freezes On Writing Lead Out

Hi there. I'm using Toast 11 in my 2007-era Mac Pro, and since purchasing it I've had increasing problems with burning discs, to the point that I can't really seem to get it to complete one successfully. Everything seems to be fine until the Writing Lead Out appears, at which point it just sits there forever, until I Force Quit the application. The discs mount on my desktop, and all appears to be okay with them, but I don't quite trust them, and it'd be great to have it work as intended. I'm running 10.6.8, and an Atapi iHAP222 W burner. Any ideas?

    Issue + Suggestion

Hey all. First time posting on Roxio's forums Basically im just alittle baffled with the roxio hd pro software. I can be livestreaming or recording and randomly 1/5 of the time the software will stop responding for no reason. Now i am unsure if this is a known issue and it just happens randomly or its something im doing wrong. What i can say is i completely reinstalled my pc and installed the software on SSD to help read and write, I still 'sometimes' get this issue. My pc spec is an I5 3570 3.4 ghz, Gigabyte h61m-s2pv Motherboard with 4gb memory, Gtx 660, 2 agility 3 60GB SSD, 500GB WD Caviar blue. Like i say its a fresh install with windows and the software onto seperate ssd's so im not sure whats causing these random crashes. Otherwise the device and software is great when it doesnt crash i can pull out full 1080p videos and 720p livestreams no problem . File size is stunning. My suggestion would be to include having the option to add a camera device into recording and livestreaming, not like anyone has suggested it before ;s but i find myself messing around using other software to record camera seperate and messing around editing/syncing both clips.

    Crash On Clicking 'capture'

Hi everybody. After working fine for a little while, my Game Capture HD software now crashes every time I select the "Capture" option after launching, I cannot get it to start at all. Nothing changed on the PC, no patches etc, it just randomly stopped. This happens with the capture unit plugged in or not, it doesn't make a difference. I have tried running as a different (admin) user, removed the capture device from device manager, plugged it in to different USB ports, etc. Nothing works. Compounding this, I was unaware of Corel's absolutely archaic (and frankly more than a little shady) practice of not allowing customers to download software or drivers from their site, so - like a lot of other users - the CD has already been binned, leaving me with no method of re-installing to fix the issue. I'm going through their support at the moment to see if I can get anybody to let me download the software (which seems like the minimum amount of customer service for a £130+ product), but as they've not replied for days and I'm reading it's likely they'll just ask me to buy a new unit anyway, has anybody got any experience of fixing crash errors on selecting the capture option? I'm running Windows 8 64-bit if that helps at all. Thanks for any advice.

Having A Few Problems With My Cap Card

I've had my Roxio capture card for a few months now, and for a first few weeks, it worked great. I recorded videos and edited them into masterpieces using the device software. Somewhere in the mix though, it seems something went wrong. I ran into a problem where on the start menu of the card (Where you can choose to 'Capture' or 'Edit and Share'), I couldn't do anything. Clicking 'Capture' would yield no result at all. 'Edit and Share' would launch, but immediately stop responding. After a repair (Using the steps I've read Jim_Hardin post many time), I was able to get past this issue. Now, 'Capture' will launch, but there is a buffet of problems. Upon launching, it will typically display 'No Signal' in red. Every option box is blacked out. If I click 'Options' or anything from the tool bar, it stops responding. I can adjust the quality bar, however. When it is moved at all, the status will change to 'Ready'. If the setting is set down all the way, a clear picture appears, but anything higher than that results in a blank screen with only noise. Clicking 'Start Capture' when the clear picture up causes the program to stop responding again. I have since tried repairing it again (Turned off Anti-Virus and Firewall, so I doubt that is the problem on my end).. but I can't seem to work my way around it. Any help on this would be appreciated The information/specs for my equipment are: Xbox 360 -> Hdmi -> Roxio -> Hdmi -> TV (Also USB from Roxio to PC) I run dual HDMI cables. I replaced both when the problem occured, checked the plug-ins, and all that, so, that should eliminate problems with the cords. Pc specs: Windows 7 64-bit 8.00 GB RAM 3.30 GHz processor Processor: 7.2 Memory (RAM): 7.5 Graphics: 7.6 Gaming Graphics: 7.6 Hard drive: 5.9 I certainly hope you gurus can help me fix this problem, I can't wait to get back to recording videos Edit: I may need to be walked through some specific details/processes/fixes. I'm not as technologically 'able' as some
  13. Hi, Following the advice I was given the last time I posted here I bought a new 2012 Roxio Creator Pro program to create DVDs for my videos and pictures.Everything went well, the program ran smoothly on my computer as well. (It's a new computer I only bought it last Oct) BUT... when I go to write a disc something goes wrong. It appears to be writing just fine, it gets all the way to the end (95% or so) then it just closes. The second time I tried it I received this message: The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x11b33515 Oh and, when installing the program it said there was a problem with my product key, but it seemed to work anyway. I received another product key from the online seller I'd purchased it from, but they said I'd have to uninstall it to put it in, and I didn't want to loose my project and all my hard work so I didn't do it. Not sure if that has anything to do with this... THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  14. When streaming without a mic, the stream is fine and works perfectly. But as soon as I connect a mic (turtle beach) the stream works for a short time then the programme crashes. The longest which was also the first time I tried with a mic was 20 minutes and after the time got shorter and shorter. Not quite sure why the programme is crashing I r tried all the different resolutions and the same outcome. Hope someone can help me to fix this as I would like to use a mic whilst streaming. Thanks in advance.
  15. Hi guys, so i got the roxio capture hd pro for the WII U after seeing reviews and such, and well... im in a bit of bother, i installed the drivers and cd stuff, and can get passed the capture and edit part, but when i try to actually capture my wii u, it says, (not responding) and it will stay like that unless i take the lead out or force reset my computer. i read a little on this site but cant find any thing, i tried re installing the disc, searching for repairs ect.. 1 last thing to note, it says when i install that the servers are not responding, is that usually a problem? or is roxio having a down time? any help would be great thanx in advanced p.p.s i have a high end computer that's the only reason i decided to get this cap card.
  16. I cannot run Video Wave, Video Copy and Convert or My DVD. These have never worked for me in either Creator 2012 and Now Creator NXT either under Windows 7 Pro / Ultimate 64 Bit or Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit. Whenever I run Video Wave, as soon as the splash screen starts I get the "Video Wave has stopped working" error dialog box. If I try to run My DVD, it starts up, but as soon as it finishes loading, I get the same "Video Wave has stopped working" error. These never worked for me in either Creator 2012 Pro and Creator NXT. Trying to use video copy and convert, I cannot use this to download web video as it says I need the latest version of Flash, but windows 8 / IE 10 already has the latest flash installed. Video Copy convert used to work under Windows 7 and Creator 2012, even though it did crash frequently when trying to use the web download option. I will post PC specs, but for some reason, I cannot use the enter key to post, so I cannot start a new line. PC specs: Windows 8 pro, Intel Core I7 3770K 3.5Ghz @ 3.9 Ghz, 32 GB RAM G-Skill Ripjaws 1600 MHz (4 x 8GB), 1 x 512GB OCZ SSD boot drive, 2 x 2TB SATA II Seagte HDD, 2 x 3 TB SATA III HDD, 2 LG BluRay 14x SATA burners, Sounblaster Z soundcard, Zotac NVidia GT640 Graphics with 2GB DDR memory, with NVidia 3D vision setup, 2 flat panels displays (1 3D, both 1920 x 1080 via DVI). How do I get these programs working? I bought a whole new verion because version 12 never offered any updates, and NXT up to now has never offered any software updates either.
  17. Every time I try and run the capture program it crashes immediately. I have tried installing/reinstalling/repairing several times. Yet, I continue to get the same message. I cant get beyond the choice of Capture or Edit. Each option crashes. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  19. Hi, this problem is driving me crazy. I paid for a the latest version of Toast Titanium 11 Pro for my Early 2008 Mac Pro 8 core with OS X 10.8.2. The download went smoothly, as did the install. But when I go to run it, I get the lovely spinning wheel, and must Force Quit the app (shows as Not Responding). The Corel support pages were of no help. I have wasted many hours trying to re-install it and also to install updates. I ran an earlier version of Toast on a Mac Mini and it was awesome. This is very frustrating! Thanks! Scott

gs: 0x00000037 cr2: 0x096acff8 As you can see, I am running Snow Leopard (on a Mac Pro 2.66 with 8GB RAM). I tried dragging just one of the songs into Toast and it was fine. As soon as I dragged over a second one it, it crashed. This only happens if I have Audio CD format selected. If MP3 Disc format is selected, it is fine and I have burnt a cd. However, the cd player in my car doesn't play mp3's (yes, it's older), so I need an Audio CD. Using the Add function I'm not able to even load one of the songs from this album. It should also be noted that this happens only with this one album. All others work fine. I just tried another experiment, where I loaded one song from the album, then several songs from a different playlist. This worked without issue. However, as soon as I tried dragging another song from the album in, Toast crashed. Can anyone offer a solution as to how I can over come this problem and burn an Audio CD of the album? Your help is greatly appreciated.
  21. I have now tried installing and reinstalling Toast Tit. 11.1 several times since upgrading to Lion and upgrading from TT 11.04. Every time I hit the "Burn" button, the app crashes and restarts and the cycle begins again - and again - and again. Only reversion back to 11.04 allows me to burn discs (no matter what type) in TT. I use Toast a great deal for burning music for my radio program - and while previous versions have not been entirely friendly to all aspects of Mac, this is impossible. I have seen posts elsewhere that mention this crashing business in Lion. What is up and why haven't complaint spawned investigations and repair? MacPowerBook 2010 / OSX 10.7.5 / 8GB RAM / 350GB HD Thanks. AD
  22. I have VHS to DVD for Mac. We have it connected to our VCR + DVD player. We have not been able to complete a full VHS to DVD conversion because it crashes. The only other apps running at the time are Chrome. When it crashes (see attached error message), the RECORDING stops, the counter resets to zero, but the VHS continues to play. It also does not create the converted file. I restart the recording, and finish the tape, it dies create a converted file, and from the looks of it, the converted file is fine - albiet partial (I've not tried yet to copy it to DVD). The first time I received this error, I had PREFERENCES set for the destination to my computer. I changed that to my external Seagate drive and I still experience the crashes. It has crashed at least 5 times. The first several crashes occurred towards the end of the tape, another crashed 20 minutes into the tape. Help! What do we need to do to get passed this?
  23. Video Copy & Convert would cause my computer to restart. I went to Programs and Features and did a repair on Creator Suite 10. It will not cause restart now but it will not burn!! Copy & Covert looks normal and says writing to disk but the DVD is blank???!! I am using DVD+RW disks. Any ideas? TNX
  24. I just upgrade Toast to 11.1 on two computers, a brand new iMac and a MacBook Pro that is about a year old. Both are using 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion). I had the same problem installing the program as others have related (no way to finish the installation). I was able to overcome that by trashing preferences. Now, when I try to burn an audio CD the program crashes, every single time, on both computers. As soon as I hit the "Burn" button, it crashes. Anyone got any ideas?

    Video_Ts Compilation Crash?

Any suggestions, fixes or workarounds for abrupt VIDEO-TS compilation-related crashes? As long as I've been using Toast Titanium (various Toast Titanium iterations/versions) on my intel-based Macintosh CPUs, I've never been able to utilize the VIDEO-TS compilation feature to combine multiple VIDEO-TS files/folders into one DVD without Toast Titanium (now, version 11.1) abruptly crashing. Prior to the advent of Mac OS X, such abrupt application crashes could be easily remedied by simply allocating more memory to the problematic application. However, with the introduction of Mac OS X (now, 10.8.2), I'm unsure how to resolve this recurrent problem with Toast Titanium. Any insights or suggested fixes in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
