  1. I just got the RGCHD and installed the software. I hooked up my Xbox 360 to the device using HDMI cords, and while the picture on my Laptop is fine, the picture on the TV is not. The picture on the TV keeps flickering in and out. While it was flickering, I made sure my Console settings were on 720p/1080i, since it does not support 1080p. Still glitchy. Then I decided to take it out to the front room (where I rarely get to the tv out there) and sure enough, it works on that TV, which is newer than the one I have in my room (Mine is an Olevia, not sure which model, One in living room is a Vizio) Furthermore, Component cords work on both my tv and FR tv. Edit: Olevia is like 6/7 year old Could it just be because of HDCP? Or is there something else it could be?
  2. These are my pc specs before i start the topic, im pretty sure they can handle roxio game capture hd pro easily : Amd A8 6600k Quad Core Apu with Radeon 8570 Graphics Windows 7 8gb ram All drivers are updated Now when im recording i dont look at the preview screen i look at my tv (That's what im recording from) After the video is done i watch or edit it and when i watch it on some bits it has like a weird colour/pixal glitch and some of the video turns rainbow coloured or just weird couloured. And it is anonying. It goes blurry as well I don't know why this is happening. I don't know if having 2 different hdmi cables makes a difference. Thanks for the help!
  3. Hi all Roxio community. I just create this account, to share, how i fix the glitchy video and audio (this works for me). I use a laptop, with an QUAD CORE AMD A10 4600m Processor, this processor has integrated graphics (512MB) with 8gb ram Well let´s get started. 1.- In your desktop, right click, and select "Screen resolution" 2.-click on "make text and other items larger or smaller." 3.- choose this option "Smaller - 100% (default) (In my case, i use laptop, and i use an external monitor, i select the larger option, long ago, then i realized that this option consume more graphics requeriment, so i select the smaller option, and BOOOM!!, when i start to record 0% GLITCHY AUDIO AND VIDEO) Now let´s go to the AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER 1.- right click in your desktop and select "AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER" 2.-GO TO GAMING OPTION 3.-3D APPLICATION SETTINGS 4.- PUT ALL LIKE THE PICTURE 5.- GO AND TEST IT That´s what i did, please comment if this settings works, See you (Sorry for my bad english, im from Mexico )
  4. Hey Hey Kids! Now I am trying to capture PS4 Video putting aside my issues with the HIGH compsumption of MBs/GBs when capturing small gameplay footage, when I go and play the MTs (or if it actually works the high gb mp4 file) it is choppy, glitchy and skipping, I I have know Idea what the go is, My PS4 display is set to 720 and I capture in 720 and I use sony Vegas at 720 but it is crap.... PS3 Captures are fine and dandy (aside the point that again high capacity GBs files for short game play) but the PS4 it's shocking!
  5. Here are some things that need to be fixed with the roxio hd pro. First off I use a roxio hd pro and have grown very fond of it, its just that this capture card software needs alot of work. Here are my reason that the roxio hd pro gives me a headache: Reason 1: No mic recording feature while using the capture feature, This is usually available in all high grade capture card softwares like the elgato. THIS IS THE REASON MOST PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS CAPTURE CARD. Reason 2: The software can be very glitchy while stopping a recording, staring a recording, and also starting and stopping livestreams. Reason 3: No option to record livestreams. Reason 5: No option to use a camera in livestreams and while recording. These features need to be added because they give me and probably most people a headache and make us want to switch to a different capture card so PLEASE FIX THESE!!!
  6. Found my roxio hd pro again and it still looks like this, dont know whats wrong with it. can anyone help??
  7. 1-I bought Roxio GameCap HD Pro from Amazon. When I start capturing, it is "gliching" and i cant capture any video because of it. 2-When I plugged out the roxio, resolution was 720p, but when i plugged in the resolution decreases to 480p. I can't change the resolution because PS doesn't allow it. I tried a lot of solutions, repair the program, change TV, change PC but all without success. What can I do? PC: i7 4770K ASUS ROG ARES II (ARES2-6GD5)( x2 7970) ASUS P8Z77 Deluxe Corsair 400R Corsair CX750 8 GB Corsair XMS3 2x4 RAM Second PC: i7 870 HD 6790 6GB RAM Sorry for my bad, #$%\$ english
  8. I may have a fix for the glitchy video and audio happening to many people. Assuming that you meet or exceed the requirements to run the Roxio software, your PC or Laptop is not overheating, your cables are in working order, your Roxio unit is not faulty, and you have updated the software and drivers, you may need to try tweaking your Graphics Card settings. I my case I needed to go into the Nvidia Control Panel and change some settings in the 3D Settings - Manage 3D Settings tab. After some trail and error and testing, I found that with the right settings, the Glitchy Video and Audio are solved. Below is a video explaining this further. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxYSg0mfGmM For ATI Graphics Card users, please refer to this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIUuPkSGVrk
  9. Hello. I have been trying for around 3 hours to correctly set up my brand new Roxio Game Capture with my Xbox 360. I have watched many set up videos and many settings videos but I still can not find a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_KPVhSP8xw
  10. Whenever I try to record game play, this shows up in the preview screen and in the recording. I think it might be my graphics card. Please reply if anybody knows a fix! Laptop Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit Operating System Intel® Core2 Duo CPU P7350 @ 2.00GHz 6GB Of Ram Graphics Card-Generic PnP Moniter on Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family
  11. Ok, so aside from the fact that the software that comes w/ the HD Pro is complete crap (I mean really, how in the hell do you not even have a "fade in, fade out" option?); I seem to constantly be getting this problem whenever I set the capture birate to 10kbps or more.. Whenever I set the video bitrate to 10kbps [720p] or more, and try to edit the capture using the software that comes with the Roxio, its all fine... Until I upload to YouTube. When I upload to YouTube there is ALWAYS a half-inch to inch green bar at the bottom of the video-- only when its on YouTube. Futhermore, if I edit the same file using Sony Vegas; no matter what the bitrate (usually 8 or more tho), the finished render project will always pixalate horrifically at random parts in the video. This is definitely not a system spec problem; nor a cooling problem (I dont think). Any fix suggestions? Like a different, COMPATIBLE editing program? I'm not lowering the bitrate. Less bitrate equals lesser quality. Just want to see if there is a workaround before I sell or smash this pos.
  12. 15. Here is a recording of the program that glitches my games. I believe that there is nothing wrong with my connections as it shows full quality on my tv passthrough. At the end of the video i am playing the recorded video clip, but it is only a half second long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKjxSluF4qs Can someone tell me what the problem is? Faulty program? Device? Thanks
