  1. Trying to recover jpg files from CD burned 8 years ago. The full size jpg files are on the CD but Windows 10 reports file format not supported. I have tried several different multi format viewers but no luck. Any suggests would be appreciated. Corel support has not been helpful thus far.
  2. All my Movies are taken in PAL 25 format and downloaded to iMovie which is also set to PAL 25. I also make slideshows in Aperture which end up in .MOV format. When I go to burn either of them as a DVD Video I get the following message on the screen - 'The TV Standard is currently set to PAL, but all your content is in NTSC format. Do you want to write an NTSC disc or re-encode all content to PAL?" I am using Toast Titanium V 11.1 I don't understand why this is happening as all my imagery is in PAL and the original stills in the Aperture slideshows are in JPG. Any ideas anyone - please? This is so frustrating. I'm also convinced that re-encoding deteriorates the final imagery.
  3. I had SNAPPY Video Snapshot to capture still images from my camcorder to my old computer. But, it uses the parallel port to input data, and my new Win7 machine lacks this port. Plus it was very slow. What do I need to use my camcorder, to view the live images on the monitor, and then be able to capture a JPG still image? Seems like a simple thing, but I can't figure out what product will do this. Any suggestions? Thanks! Rich
  4. I seem to be having a problem with getting a .jpg file to open up in PhotoSuite. I scanned a 4X6 photo with my Epson 845 AIO using the EpsonScan sw at 4800dpi and a jpg compression level of 1. This results in a jpg file of 18588X28276 pixels and 217MB in size. There is sufficient RAM in the system (8GB) to accomplish the file open and PhotoSuite does appear to open the file and shows one file open but the image displayed onscreen is nothing but whitespace, no image. I need to know how to correct this so I can work on the file.
