Prepare Record Failed#0 In Capture My Screen

Can anyone please help? I have a HP ProBook laptop running Win 10 Pro 64bits (Build 14393) and having problems when try to use Roxio Creator NXT3's Capture My Screen. I get the error code in the title of my post (i.e. 'Prepare Record Failed #0). This program has worked successfully in the past but to be honest, I haven't used it for well over a year and there has been many Windows updates applied to my PC since then. I tried looking for the updates KB3126587, KB3134814, and KB3126593 in order to remove them from my PC, but they are not installed on my PC anyway. My PC is up to date with all Windows updates. Can you help please? -
Last March (2015) I decided to upgrade from Creator10 to NXT3. In June (2015), I upgraded to Win10. It quickly became obvious that there was a compatibility issue. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling I checked online and discovered that the issue was not unique. I also discovered that in order to uninstall I needed to work in the REGISTER. This became annoying and a royal pain I contacted CS, they had me uninstall/reinstall, download a fresh version, download an uninstaller which worked no better. THEY HAD ME WASTE HOURS AND HOURS doing all this crap. IN THE END, THEY ADMITTED THAT THEY WERE AWARE THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE. The solution I was given today when I requested a free upgrade was NO. I could purchase the program at a discount from their website. Thanks Roxio for a total waste of time and money, this is no way to treat customers.

When I try to change the location of of pictures to add to a slide show, It crashes and I get the error. If I keep everything in My Documents it works. I used to be able to go to another drive to get pics and music.

I have been using Roxio Creator 2010 for several years, but I have not been happy with the results. My dissatisfaction comes from the playback quality of a video slideshow burned on a DVD and displayed on a Samsung 46" LCD TV. The images appear to be displayed at a very low resolution. The same images when printed on photographic paper appear to be very crisp / sharp. I am not sure if the issue is with the Roxio software or the TV setup. I have attempted to make several adjustments and see no difference. Knowing that my current version of Creator software (2010) is 5 years old, if I upgrade to Roxio Creator NXT3 or the PRO version will I see a significant improvement in the displayed video quality from a DVD? Nxt3 Crashes When Opening Nxt Dmsp Photosuite File

As previously reported for NXT2 here http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/91907-upgraded-to-nxt2-unable-to-open-dmsp-files-created-with-nxt/page__gopid__496694?do=findComment&comment=496694 If you try to open a PhotoSuite dmsp file created in NXT or earlier with NXT3 the program crashes saying "Photosuite has stopped working".-
