    Some Overlay Help?

Hello I'm editing some gameplay videos and have run into a bit of a problem: There's some nudity. Now YouTube would of course flip out on me and have strikes against me going against ToS. So I've been trying to have motion to the overlay I'm using in certain path, and not some of the default motions they have for overlays (Scroll, slide in, etc). I was hoping without much need for outside editing software if there is a way to make an overlay follow a certain path in a video to act as a censor of sorts. If I do need some outside software intervention, then any ideas of free to cheap programs that could accomplish this? ~Sincerely, CaponeOfWV
  2. Hi, is it possible to add an image to use as a watermark in one of the corners when you're streaming the footage live? Thanks in advance.

    Black Screen Overlay

So, for some reason, I always seem to get this giant black overlay across my whole screen, leaving about an inch or so uncovered at the top. I suspect it has something to do with aero themes, for it seems to only do it when they're disabled. I've had this problem in the past, and I don't know how to fix it. I can't take any screen captures of it, because one: I can't navigate to any capture software, and two: I'm thinking its not actually outputting it to the monitor as such, as in its something that's caused post transmission. Also, as an unrelated note, my game capture sometimes has color distortions, but only when there's a lot of movement on the screen its capturing. For example, I can't play fast paced online FPS's without this issue, namely Battlefield. For others, it doesn't seem to be as prevalent, but it can show up. Its even shown up in Skyrim. It just so happens that when it happens on the preview screen, its there in the footage. Oddly enough, when the preview screen framerate drops, the footage's doesn't. So I don't know if there's any kind of simple fix for that that's been conceived, but I haven't been able to fix it. It didn't use to do it, and I use the same average laptop I have for years. Thanks in advance.
  4. How can I add text onto my video and have long duration? For example, I want to put the names of my friend and I on our respective sides of the screen, but the times I have tried, the duration of the text is only ten seconds and I can't change it. Help would be much appreciated.
  5. I own a new Roxio Game Capture Card. I want to record gameplay, obviously, but while I record gameplay. I want to show my face, at this point, my biggest problem, is when I record my face, and overlay that onto the gameplay, the video wont sync with the gameplay. The beginning of the video will be sync'd but by about 10 minutes, it had a 3-6 second delay, even though the front of the video is sync'd. I can't find anything on the internet to help this problem. So any reply is a good reply. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service pack 1). At this point i use a Sony Handycm DCR-SX63 to record my face/voice. So really, what do i need to do/what can i get, or what can i do differently. I'm really stuck right now, and I could really use an answer ASAP. So thanks in advance for you advice.
  6. I am using overlay to add a webcam of myself over my game capture footage. However there are parts of the video I want to speed up, however when you do this it only speeds up the video, the overlay remains unchanged and therefore out of sync. Is there anway without another piece of software to speed up the overlay at the same point as the video so it remains in sync after the edit?
