  1. Hi Everyone, I recently got a RGC off Ebay. So far i've wasted a week trying to get it working and had 2 laptops blue screen or crash on me for reasons beyond me except it was when i plugged the device in. I decided to try it out on my desktop which is way above the minimum requirements. This time it installed without a hitch and I have both drivers: Now when i open the capture software, i am greeted with this screen: So far i'm getting a green no signal and a black screen - however I am now getting some crackly audio from the game. But I am stuck as to what i'm meant to do now. I can play the game fine on my TV on the component setting. Thanks edit: I played around with the settings, and i'm now getting "ready" however, it doesn't pick up any video.
  2. Hi, I recently bought this for my son, so I'm a bit unsure about the technical aspects! He uses a Samsung monitor with a HDMI input only. I bought the necessary component cables for the PS3 and also a component & audio to HDMI converter. So the map is something like this; Component & Audio in > PS3 Component & Audio out > HDMI converter HDMI converter > HDMI input on monitor I'm getting no luck with this set up. Where am I going wrong? Any help greatly appreciated, or else my 11 year old will not be happy! Thanks!
  3. Hello, I had recently received a roxio game game capture as a gift but I only had the cables and the device and I don't have/own a game capture software cd. Please help is their something I can download?
  4. Hello there. I hope it's alright to make a topic on this. I went through the posts and they seemed similar but I'm not entirely sure they're the exact same issues. I received a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO as a gift a couple of years ago. I remember I successfully had it working with my Playstation 2 because I had gotten some Devil May Cry footage. Time has passed since then and only recently did I decide to pull out the card again. Previously, I was using a Windows 7 laptop and, though the program seemed taxing, it got the job done. This time, I have a recently constructed Windows 10 desktop. Whenever I start the program while the PS3 is hooked up, the preview window shows picture and audio. However, when I hit capture it turns black and plays no sound. When I stop recording the program crashes. When I start with the PS2, the preview window only has audio for a brief moment, which it quickly cuts off. No picture ever shows and attempting to record crashes the program. I'm not sure what information you might need to help so I'll post what comes to mind for now. Roxio Installed from the disc and then all updates downloaded. Running as Administrator. Computer System Type: 64 bit Processor: Intel i7-5820k RAM: 16.0 GB Graphics Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Hardware The gray component and audio wires are plugged into my tv. The black component cables plug into my PS3/PS2. The USB goes into my computer tower. Any help you can provide would be really appreciated! I've been trying to get this working for two days.
  5. So since the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro doesn't come with the extra HDMI cables needed, i went ahead and ordered 2 Pearlstone 10' Ultra thin HDMI cables. I went to test the HD Pro on my PS4 first, and my TV was blank once i plugged one of the Pearlstone HDMI cables from the output into the TV. I tried this with the X1 as well, and still nothing being read/blank screen. I originally bought the 2 HDMI cables for the 360, since my console only had component wires. (I still haven't tested out the 360) So since I want to be able to record gameplay from all my consoles, is there specific HDMI cables I should buy for the newer generation of consoles? I was really looking forward to making some videos over the summer.
  6. Hello,Firstly sorry for my bad english.English IS NOT my first language. I have few problems with my Roxio GameCap ON PS3 1.My computer doesn't recognize the ORIGINAL Roxio Disc -I am using Windows 8.1 2.My TV doesn't have the blue and green holes so I tried to cheat a little with two of those : http://goo.gl/adEXi5 checked every single cable at least two times and nothing. The only thing shown on my TV when everything is connected is "No Signal" with Blue background.I don't have ps3 component cable! If the link above doesn't work : http://www.ebay.com/...=item19ee4e45b8 Thank you
  7. Hi I have a huge problem for me with RGC which is the quality of preview is horrible when console is set on 576p, 720p or 1080i. First of all I didn't expected amazing full hd crystal clear quality but what I get is so weird it's like my PS3 cables are really bad but when I try them on tv it looks crystal clear even though those are cheap cables and it looks on tv great in 720p and 1080i. I tried with official software with SP2 and SP1 separately I also tried it with AmaRecTV and it also looks bad. I tried with AVI with Divx and I was playing around with video settings. The wierd part is it looks great in 576i or standard PAL as it says and it's fine but I already have EzCap with S-video at that's why I bought Roxio GameCap because a lot of games aren't properely displayed in standard PAL so it's like squished or they don't work in 16:9 so what I wanted is just excatly same quality as S-video but the console would be running in 720p that's it but it looks so bad I attatched some picture last one is in default settings. I can assure that there is nothing wrong with my PC specs: Intel Core i5 480M 2,67 GHz Nvidia Geforce GT540m 1GB 3 GB of RAM Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 Bit Than I tried reinstalling and installing software but that didn't helped I tried plugging cables from Component video in to component video out but that's didn't helped I know that there is an issue with Audio cables so I unplugged them and ghosting partially dissapeared but it still looks horrible my setup is that I only have it connected on USB and cables are only from console I don't have TV in my room so I want to play them on PC same way as I played on EzCap but I can't because of the quality There is ghosting it looks fuzzy it's just so bad and I don't know what to do because I bought it used there is no warranty and I just have no money to buy expensive component cables just to test if that would help which I doubt here is recording example in Avi https://www.youtube....h?v=wKj69MlUyvc and here is another with DivX https://www.youtube....h?v=QKYMwFZd4PQ I don't know what to expect maybe I'm missing something maybe there are some improved drivers I really don't know but please help me
  8. Hi, I've just gotten Roxio Gamecap HD Pro, and I've been try to see it up so I can play my PS3 on my TV screen while capturing on my computer. My TV only has one HDMI socket, so I got a HDMI splitter cable plug so I could capture from my TV while my PS3 is connected to the TV via HDMI cable, but the plug won't let me have more than one device (a.k.a. my PS3 and Gamecap) on at once. My PS3 connects straight to Roxio Gamecapture fine, but I can't handle the 2 second delay in playback. I've tried various things like connecting the splitter cable plug from the gamecap and the PS3 instead of the TV but nothing works. And my monitor doesn't have a HDMI input, otherwise I'd be playing it on there. Please, is there anyway around this problem? I'm beginning to think I should have just gotten the SD gamecap.
  9. I am having recording/preview window glitches on my computer. if anyone can help, please do so! Thanks
