    Hello community, I have had the ROXIO GameCapture HD Pro for around 2 1/2 months. It was working great and I was capturing some pretty cool footage. However, when I finally started it up after not using it for a long time, it tells me "Select video device failed." when I start up the Capture software. I have all the correct cords plugged into the correct places in the TV and my PS3, and I have plugged in the USB cord into the ROXIO GameCap and the USB Drive on my computer. I am out of possible thoughts as to what could be causing the problem, and I would really like some help so that I can get my YT Channel going! If it's okay, here's a video I posted demonstrating the problem (somewhat): Does anyone have any thoughts on the origin of this problem?

    Hi, I've had my RGC Pro for a year and a half now but just recently the software starts crashing. I am trying to play on PS4 and capture gameplay for YouTube. - I have disabled HDCP - I have all my drivers updated - I have reinstalled, repaired, and tried a different computer But.... nothing works! Please help!

    I use a HD PRO and I recently have been having some problems with it. It is giving me a green "No Signal" light when I go to record my game as if my cable isn't in. Now I do have all the updates that the software permits as well as making sure the cables are in properly. I can see the game on my TV screen just fine. But I cant see it or record it on laptop. I use a Windows 8 laptop which ive recorded and uploaded from before 90% of my recording has been on my ne laptop. It just started doing this maybe a month ago id estimate. I hope you can figure out a solution please help!

    Two issues. 1. I recorded some gameplay and when I viewed the video, I noticed that the audio from the game echoed. Like *gunshot* 2 seconds later, same gunshot just quieter. How can I fix this? 2. Why cant I record the audio from my pc when I have headphones plugged in? When I unplug them, audio records tho but I want headphones on while I record. Ugh! thought getting this would help me achieve my dream of being a video commenter. instead I keep having issues that are stopping that. Please help me fix these issues.

    Speeded Up Gameplay?

    Hi, About 2 hours ago, I set up my Roxio Game Capture (standard). I recorded a couple of gameplays, no problem. However when I watched them back, they were all at 2x speed, gameplay and sound. I then tried recording 3 clips in 3 different file formats - AVI, DIVX, WMV. All yielded the same result - 2x speed of gameplay and audio. Is there any way I can fix this? Laptop specs: Intel Core i3 370m Dual Core CPU @ 2.4GHz. 4GB DDR3 RAM Intel HD Graphics 250GB HDD Awaiting your replies, James.

    Recording Glitches During Black Screen Transitions

    Right so I have had an overall decent experience with this device however I have ran into some problems recently. When recording black screen transitions (not sure if there is a technical term for this) the final recorded video file is a bit glitched from the fore mentioned transition onward. When importing into Roxio Videowave it comes up as a singular file in the timeline that is all messed up, problems include: > Delayed audio > Small video loops (only happens around the transition) > Clipped/Looped audio (only happens around the transition) > Stays on a blank screen for longer that it did at the time of recording No signs of these problems are present in the preview window on the software, and on further testing I have found that it only affects videos that are set to record >720p bit-rate doesn't seem to affect it nor does length of recording. Here is the bit that I find puzzling... Upon importing the same video file into CyberLink PowerDirector 12 it comes up as multiple files, most of which are the clipped/looped audio/video glitched bits that I mentioned previously as well as some one, two or three second silent video files that are just a black screen. The rest of these files are just the recordings from the point I clicked start capture up to the transitions (then all the glitched stuff is there) then every point after the transition (e.g the actual game-play) until the next transition. The audio is synced fine in these files its just really irritating to have to delete the parts that aren't supposed to be there. Does anyone else have this problem if so help would be appreciated. PC SPECS: TOSHIBA SATELLITE L850 CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.40GHz GPU: Nvidia GeForce 630M RAM: 16GB (15.89 Usable) OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit

    I've had the product for about 5 months now, and i hadn't used it in a while. I went to use it again but now everytime i click on "capture" it shows both the loading box and the windwow icon for the capture pad for a split second and then they both go away and nothing happens. also when i click on videowave, once it gets into it, the computer says it stops responding and closes it. I have no idea how to fix this problem and am in need of help soon please. i would reinstall it but my disc along with the serial key are not where i thought i put them when i originally got it. Please help!

    I ordered Roxio Game Capture (I don't know if its HD or not, but I think its the normal game cap), and it did not come with a disk. I bought it off of amazon, and when it showed up, there was no disk. All there was, was some wires and a game capture. Please help me.

    Hi guys, I've been scrolling forever to find a fix to help me but i can't find any (i might missed it) but i've had the capture card for a year now. maybe lesser . but i didn't have any problems until i had to stop rec for a couple of months. now i'm back but when i capture the videos, it is as tho it is cut at the bottom and top part of the video . it looks fine during the recording screen but after i playback the video. it had the cut. please help thanks in advance HERE ARE MY LAPTOP SPECS: Processor : Intel® Core i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50 HGz Installed memory (RAM) : 8.00 GB System Type: 64-bit Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 Thanks in advance There's a picture attached btw

    Hi this is really bugging me. I was just recording my Xbox gameplay and i was in an Xbox live party and it was recording the audio from the game but not the party. I know that it wont record my voice since its not an output or whatever and i solved that with Audacity. But i really need to know how to get this fixed. I know for a fact that you can get it to record the party voices because i saw it on a forum somewhere but i cant remember where. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello everyone, I bought the Roxio HD Pro about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Everything works fine and the quality is amazing. I tried out livestreaming the other day and I had a few issues. I logged into my twitch name and chose the sever closest to me. (I live near Philly PA and I chose New York) When I hit livestream the program says not responding but then works again and says im streaming. I then check my Twitch channel and says im not live. Anyway to fix this? Thanks for reading!

    Hey guys. I recently purchased a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. The question is, how would you be able to set this up with a VGA monitor? It's a Viewsonic, that's the name of the VGA monitor. I really don't want to spend a lot of money to try to make this work. Do you think this would work? I just don't have the USB on my VGA. Thanks. I only have one DVI output on the back now.
