  1. I have an XVID Movie which I play (through my laptop) on to my LARGE Plasma TV and the picture is great !!! as soon as I burn that xvid to DVD (using Toast 11.2) the quality of the Movie drops by about 30% !!! ALSO: the size of the movie file INCREASES about three-times the size !!! how is this even possible ?? The file size increases three-fold, and the quality drops by about 30% !!! - Please don't tell me about xvid being a low quality codec because I already have said that I play the movie from my computer onto my LARGE SCREEN PLASMA TV.. and the quality is just fine. but its a hassle to bring my laptop to the TV every time. the quality drops from Toasts bad quality conversion process, I guess. I want to know how I can improve the quality of Toast DVD burning. or, is there better software out there ? Thanks
  2. Hi, just got my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro few days ago , but have an issue/doubt about the render settings for the video wave software . I use Sony Vegas for editing my clips and I'm aware that you won't get sound for the captured video in Sony Vegas with .m2ts format that Roxio uses. So I thought of rendering my video first using video wave. I tried out few settings, but there's a quality loss between the M2TS and the rendered clip. So I would like to know what are the best settings to render in video wave with less quality loss as possible and the rendered video should be able to work in Sony Vegas. I capture in 1280x720 with 59fps and 1920x1080 with 29fps. I would like to know what render settings you guys are using for their videos for these two resolutions. Also I capture in 8mb bitrate for both resolutions. Will capturing in 15mb help my cause ? Or can you suggest any other software that would help me ? Cheers Ash
  3. When I save camera files from my Nikon camera's and Sony NX5U video camera to disc is there any loss in quality. I have been using Verbatim discs and external hard drives to save the raw files. Any thoughts?
