    Recordings Not Hd Quality?

When I capture my gameplay from my xbox one, my video quality is not near HD quality. All of my settings are set to the fullest but the outcome of the videos are really crappy. I need help with this please, because I am planning on starting a youtube channel and I want to have good quality videos. My bitrate is 15000 and my video type is mp4 and HDMI. If anyone can help me out that would be really appreciated.

    Rendering Question

What are the best render settings for rendering out a video in 720p? I have been rendering my videos as AVCHD1280x720, but are there better render settings? I record in 720p hd so should I just render the video 'same as original'?

    Rendering Seems To Be Frozen

i made a video and put a lot of time into it. it is approximately 35 seconds long. it took a while because my computer is pretty slow but can still manage to make everything nicely. I started to render it so i could send it to a friend, but it stopped around 18% of the way and hasn't budged in an hour. i've tried multiple times to no avail. The no number on the screen change ( like duration or frames). Is it taking this long because of my computer or is this a normal happening? is it actually frozen?
  12. I had Roxio2012 on an older HP-WinXP-32 machine and rendering (MPEG-2 for DVD, best quality) always was about 'real-time' speed. I have now upgraded to Win7-64 on 2 other computers and the rendering to run very slow - 1-2 minute clips take about 10-15 minutes. What has happened or is different? JmarkRON
  13. So this thing has been working great but I've tried rendering this video 6 times already and each time they have no game sound. The game I was recording was Dead Space 3 in 1080i video is 39 minutes long. Anyways the only audio I hear after I Render it is my commentary and absolutely no Game sound from dead space. I cant figure it out can someone give me an easy solution.
  14. Good day, Having bought my son a Roxio game capture (standard model not HD),r we are stumped with a rendering problem. We have created videos (from Xbox) using different file formats and at different settings. When he tries uploading he gets the message "cannot render video into new file modify your project and try again". I have searched for this warning and have only found it once and there was no reply to the question. I was able to upload a test video by using YouTube's uploading feature. I don't know what else to modify or do to try and get the Roxio software to work. We are using it as it came in the box. I am frustrated that the product has this flaw but am eager to learn how to correct it. Can anyone provide some direction to solve the rendering problem? Both of us have minimal computer knowledge. Thanks.

    Hardware Vs. Software Rendering

What exactly does this do? Logically, the rendering is done via software running on the hardware, so what does this setting do? I would assume hardware would be the option you want if you have an amazing GPU, but doesn't the rendering get done on it anyways since the software (presumbly) uses the GPU? Or does it normally use the CPU, and the hardware setting uses the GPU? Are there any bugs or other info I should know relating to this?
