  1. Okay, gonna be honest, haven't messed with this thing in years and saw the update (SP3 with pretty much no update notes with it). I decided i wanted to plug it in and see how my new pc works. I have a ROG swift 27'' 4k 60hz monitor, and a 27'' Asus 1080p 60hz monitor. When i place the capture window (where you can press start captures, live stream, start pre-roll...etc) on my 4k monitor, it will show the full capture from my xbox one. If i place it on my second monitor... the screen cuts off on the capture window (black area where capture usually is). I tried to set the 1080 as my primary and got no change, only using the 4k monitor gives me the full screen but I do not want the window on my 4k monitor, i want it on my 1080p monitor. If i click the 'full screen' button the capture window full screen actually moves to my 4k monitor (not what i want). and not only that, it's still not full screen. So to summarize, even simpler terms. 4k monitor and 1080p monitor in dual monitor setup, roxio software works and shows fine on the 4k, but as soon as it's moved to the 1080p monitor the capture source cuts off inside the capture window (there's a screenshot attached for reference). This unfortunately seems like something a roxio developer would need to repair with a patch as I've already tried multiple things to make it display properly. Running program as admin, changing the main monitor from 4k to 1080p, trying full screen, restarting computer, re-installing software (even though it was a clean install in the first place). I am aware there are community members on this forum asking rather unimportant questions... so please don't ask stupid questions or you will get the best answer i can think up. PC Specs (because people may not understand that 4k is better than 720 for some reason) i7-4790k 4.0Ghz cpu 980ti gpu (updated drivers and checked) 32GB ram Windows 10 professional 64-bit if you honestly need anymore than that you should probably let someone else try and help. everything needed is in this post for this specific problem. However, If more info is needed, feel free to ask for it. DO NOT POST if you are not intending to help solve the problem.

  3. Hey here Roxio community, I'm having a repeated issue of my capture software being unable to login to my Twitch account nor can I do anything with the Youtube account for it due to it crashing every single time I attempt to login. I am running on windows 10, I don't want to be forced to downgrade back to windows 8 just to livestream like I used to be able to, is there a fix for this? Perhaps a specific file that I can download and replace with the existing file used for the livestreaming components? Anything that will solve this issue or anything to suggest doing other than reverting my OS is welcome. Thank you for reading!
  4. Hi there everyone, I'm wondering about which Roxio Game Capture device would be better for my situation. Myself and a few of my friends are looking to record footage of a number of older game consoles, such as the Genesis, SNES, N64, Gamecube, and PS2. I'm already fairly certain that either device would work well with recording Wii footage, but I was wondering if either device have problems with any of the aforementioned consoles.
  5. As you guys know, I'm thankful for the workers of Roxio to continue support for the HD Pro and the support I've been getting so far. But now onto some matters. I've updated the software and seeing the enhanced compatibility, I tried MP4. I did a small sample of recording Pokemon Rumble U and it seemed like everything is fine. But when I opened the directory, it didn't seem to be there. So I tried the Pre-Roll (Love that feature, by the way) and it wasn't there again. This was when I tried keeping the directory opened while I record. When I finished capturing again, it just disappeared when I finished (I kid you not. It just disappeared.)

  7. Hey, I reset my computer due to some issues etc, but i then released that i had lost the installation cd, i have the serial number that came with it and eveything else, but not the cd, i have registered the product but dont know what to do?
  8. I recently bought a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro from my friend for a good price but, he can't find the CD. I'm not sure if he still has the serial number.
  9. So i bought this in novemeber installed this everything seemed fine but when i hit capture it says "windows installer is configuring roxio cineplayer decoder pack" then it says that to finish the configuration and installation that i need to restart my laptop. i restart then launch the capture and hit capture again, only to see the same message again. I have tried to contact support and they have been useless. I was "transferred" to level 2 tech support and then never heard a word back so i am turning to the forums! Any suggestions?? Please i want to fix this and finally use the $150! Anything will help!
  10. When I switch to 720 it defaults to 1500 kbps, but when I try to change the bitrate to anything higher or anything lower it jumps to 7500 kbps and the only way for me to change it back from 7500 kbps is by changing from 720p to a different resolution and then back to 720p.
  11. When I purchased the capture card a couple months ago, I ran into no problems whatsoever. Then about a month ago, I got a good amount of blue screens when I tried recording game play on my PS4. So i decided to refresh my PC, since I imagined it may work. Sure enough, it did! But recently I've been having the same problem again. I tried repairing it, but it didn't work. I refreshed my PC multiple times with no success. The problems I run into are: blue screens, black TV screen, and pop ups stating "Capture Card Lost." I've also noticed that when I record PC games instead of the PS4, i don't run into blue screens. It's probably just luck that I didn't, but can the problem possibly be my PS4? Roxio Game Capture? PC?
  12. it was working fine with my ps3. i just got a ps4 and ive spent 3 days looking everywhere but nothing. my tv supports 1080p i already disabled the hdcp thing. i have clear picture when i connect the ps4 to the tv its when i connect to the roxio that everything goes dark. for a second on my desktop i have signal. just a second. after that the no signal thing comes on i go back to my tv and theres no signal either desktop has 8gb ram. 3.5 ghz. ive recorded ps3 gameplay so good i cant get it to work with the ps4. any help or recommendations?
  13. Hi, I know that this has been posted in a couple of the forums, and i was reading them with answers that not a lot of people are having this problem. I am just writing this post to bring it to the attention of others that I too am having problems capturing to the MP4 format. I capture on a PC, but I do all my editing on a Macbook pro. My Macbook Pro does not identify the M2ts file. It is more of a convenience to me than anything. I have software to change the M2ts file into MP4, but that just takes more time than it should. As soon as I complete a capture it just disappears from my file where I keep my Roxio Recordings. I have watched it just go away in the file, then tried to search for it through my computer and have not found it. Thank you for the time and support. Computer specs are as follows: Processor: AMd FX™- 4130 Quad-Core Processor 3.80 GHz Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB System type: 64-bit Operating System Windows 7
  14. Hello people who are reading this writing of pixelation-I have a youtube channel and I am coming up to 50 subs (i have 49)(youtube- https://www.youtube.com/user/EpicBob10/featured )-I have tryed to do a live stream but when I click it, it comes up with a run time error. Is there any way of making that runtime error to not pop up and stops the live stream to youtube (this is in Roxio Game Capture HD pro 2.0) please reply! Thx
  15. As you know by now, YouTube now supports 60FPS uploads but only up to 1080p and so far only one capture card can support both (for consoles). While this is not a concern to me, what is a concern is that I can only record 60fps up to 720P. I'm aware that most capture cards, when set to 1080P, can only record up to 30fps. While I understand that, what I don't understand is that when the console resolution is set to 1080P, even after setting the software recording resolution to 720P, it still records at 30fps, but when I set the console resolution to 720P, it can record in 60fps. (Keep in mind that all of this is done on HDMI.) The questions I have in mind are: Does this only happen to Wii U? Is it due to the HDMI? Should I switch to Component? Is this a hardware or software issue with the capture card? Any and all feedback are well appreciated.
  16. Hi guys! Can i connect my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro by HDMI reduction to VGA cable and the to the computer ?? Please help! Thanks, Kloki182.
  17. Hello there. I am experiencing an issue with my Roxio GameCAP HD PRO. Let me describe my setup with cables and that: I have two monitors and two PC's. Yes, that's right, I am not going to stream gameplay from a console but from my gaming PC. I have a DVI Cable from my gaming monitor to my gaming PC the same thing between the streaming monitor and streaming/recording pc. The gamecapture is in the middle of the pc's, with the USB connected to the streaming PC, and two HDMI cables connected to my gaming pc and monitor. Input to Gaming PC and Output to Gaming monitor. The trouble I am having is that basically, half the stuff I do on the gaming PC actually shows on my Gaming monitor. The other half of the programs I have open is shown in the little preview box in my Roxio software in the streaming PC. When I push my mouse to the very right on my gaming monitor, I control the mouse in the preview box, nowhere else. To make it clear: If I have my webbrowser(Google Chrome) up on my Gaming PC, I cannot see this in the preview box at the game capture software in my streaming pc. And programs that I can see in the preview box, Spotify for example, is not shown on my Gaming monitor. It does not work to click it up or anything, its like the computer is split in half. So what is the problem here? I have no idea. Please guys help me out here! /Redcore
  18. The new update has some bugs, I have PS3 with component cables and when recording in MP4 format, the sound is not heard when you've already recorded.
  20. Every time I try to stream Wii U content to Twitch, the software just stops within a few seconds and when I try to stop the livestream, it crashes. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?
  21. I've been using my roxio game capture HD Pro for a while now and it never had problems. Lately though whenever I plug it in to record my preview screen is blank/black. It shows nothing, but there is still sound. I can still record just fine but it's like if my preview screen is just black or turned off. Any help would be appreciated. I run my roxio game capture on windows 8 if that helps at all. I hate that I don't see the preview anymore and would love it if someone could help me find a solution.
  22. Hi I recently purchased and received the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro and have no idea how to install it onto my MacBook Air because this laptop doesn't have a disc drive/cd-rom with it. Is there a link or certain website to go to to download the program? Please help!? I want to use this right away!
  23. 24. My installation keeps on failing sadly. My Net. Framework version is 4.5 and my DirectX version is up to date with roxio software. My PC also runs the program very well, as I've had it installed before.. I have tried lots of methods that have been posted on this forum. It tends to just say Net. framework 4.0 then says Installing Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. It then doesn't say anything else, so i have a feeling its the framework thingy. Help is greatly appreciated thanks. Edit: I did a bit of looking in the log files myself and noticed it was reading all kinds of other net. framework versions except the 4.0, its reading 4.5 3.5 and 3 I believe, I think this may be a problem since it tries to download version 4.0 at the installation, if anyone has a link I can download 4.0 that would be great as I can't find one.. 25. I am a fairly new person when it comes to software concerning PC's and Mac's. My question is this; Am I able to record my xbox360 through the use of the roxio game capture hd pro onto my iMac to then post to youtube? The iMac has OSX 7 and is up to date on everything. I am not looking to record the screen of the Mac itself, but rather I want to know if I can use the iMac to record my xbox360 using the Roxio HD Pro.
