I tried to burn HD movie using Toast 12 on my iMac 10.8.5. I burned two failed disks. The first one I burned directly from Toast to my LG burner. When completed, I tried to play it back. The disk failed to be recognized. The second time l created from Toast a Disk Image onto my hard drive. Then I selected "Copy" in Toast, found my Disk Image and burned to a second blu-ray disk. I received two error messages. The first, The driver Roported and error: Sense KEy=Medium Error, Sense Code= O x OC, Write Error. I selected OK and it continued to burn. Then the second error message, Mismatch at byte 1/sector 16. Verification failed. Now I have two bad disks. As I am new to burning Blu-ray, I do not know if this is a hardware problem (new blu-ray burner from OWC at there recommendation), or a software problem (Toast 12 came with the burner). Or is this a blank disk problem?

Hi, I just bought Toast 11 and tried to burn a DVD from Final Cut Pro X. I used "Share" to make an MOV file that's about 8Gigs, then imported it into Toast 11. Halfway through burning I get this message: "The drive reported an error: Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03" What does this mean? How do I fix it so I can burn the DVD? I tried locating an explanation of this error message, but no success. Thanks for any help you can give me. Duncan

Apple, you owe me for 3 Blank DVDs since I tried burning 3 DVDs... one Movie DVD and Two Data DVDs all failed at 37% or 38% with the Error Shown in the Screen Shot Below...Never had any Problems with Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks. I even Tried reinstalling Both versions of Toast 11.2 & 12.1 thinking it was the software.... very frustrating when these were going to be shown for company on Christmas Day. If I had known this I would have purchased $40.00 cable to go from MacBook Pro to LCD TV (DVI out to HDMI). Dam this *****... (MacBook Pro 2012 w/ 16GB Ram 500GB HD • Yosemite 10.10.1) Using Brand New SONY DVD-R up to 16X Blank DVDs Error Dialog (tried to attach the picture but nothing working for me today): SENSE KEY = ILLEGAL REQUEST SENSE CODE = 0X30, 0x05 CANNOT WRITE MEDIUM, INCOMPATIBLE FORMAT Sincerely Disappointed Robert
