  1. Just upgraded to Creator NXT 4. Created a video within the program and am now trying to export for use with Windows Media Player. I keep getting an error message that states "Video Wave has stopped working". Can someone please urgently help? I need this video/slide show for an event this weekend! Have previous experience with an older version and the exports always worked fine. Thanks in advance.

Issues Capturing From Ps3 And Ps2

Hello there. I hope it's alright to make a topic on this. I went through the posts and they seemed similar but I'm not entirely sure they're the exact same issues. I received a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO as a gift a couple of years ago. I remember I successfully had it working with my Playstation 2 because I had gotten some Devil May Cry footage. Time has passed since then and only recently did I decide to pull out the card again. Previously, I was using a Windows 7 laptop and, though the program seemed taxing, it got the job done. This time, I have a recently constructed Windows 10 desktop. Whenever I start the program while the PS3 is hooked up, the preview window shows picture and audio. However, when I hit capture it turns black and plays no sound. When I stop recording the program crashes. When I start with the PS2, the preview window only has audio for a brief moment, which it quickly cuts off. No picture ever shows and attempting to record crashes the program. I'm not sure what information you might need to help so I'll post what comes to mind for now. Roxio Installed from the disc and then all updates downloaded. Running as Administrator. Computer System Type: 64 bit Processor: Intel i7-5820k RAM: 16.0 GB Graphics Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Hardware The gray component and audio wires are plugged into my tv. The black component cables plug into my PS3/PS2. The USB goes into my computer tower. Any help you can provide would be really appreciated! I've been trying to get this working for two days.
  3. I have been trying to add a commentary to a video, but when I click "add background audio" it tells me that "VideoWave has stopped working"
  4. Hello! I would really like some help on this subject. Problem 1: After editing my video on Videowave I go to the 'Export As' option. I have tons of options on the 'Video file quality' dropdown box, but when I try clicking on the recommended option for the type of videos I'm trying to make for YouTube, 'Windows Media Video 9, 1920x1080 VBR', the 'Create Video File' option athe bottom disappears. I went and downloaded WMV9 thinking maybe that was the problem, and it still didn't work for me. I'm really at a loss of why I can't export using WMV9. I don't know if another video quality option is just as good as WMV9, but in all the gamer guides I watch for creating videos on VW, they all recommend WMV9. Problem 2: When I try saving my edited video so I can continue troubleshooting, Videowave shuts down on me. Please help me find solutions if you can! Thanks!
  5. I left my roxio GameCap HD PRO sitting for a few months. I uninstalled & reinstalled the software. Then, I procedded to start it up. I entered the program "Roxio Game Capture HD PRO", & hit the CAPTURE button. The orange "Loading..." window appeared for a split second, disappeared, & I waited for over 30 minutes & got nothing, yet the "Roxio Game Capture HD PRO" window was still up. I need help! I sent the logs as .txt files so you guys can inspect & see what's going on. CPDECODERPACK_GAME1X_Install.txt GAMECAPHD_USB_X86_Install.txt GAMEHD_1X_Install.txt ROXIO_SETUP.txt
  6. Hey all, I am trying to make a simple Audio DVD. I put in all of my audio, and I used a custom setting to max out the bit rate. I have tried both using and not using the dynamic range compression. But no matter what I do the Audio stream ends up with a buzzing noise that accompanies the Audio (it's spoken word audio). My copies are fine, I have tried different audio's to see if that would change things, but nothing. Help me please, I would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks, John
  7. Okay, so the topic title should give you a good idea of what's going on, but let me explain: I have tried to connect both my Nintendo Gamecube, and Wii to the capture card. I haven't had the desired result; being the TV displaying the proper video/audio input, and the card capturing the desired footage. My results have either been, both having grey scale video displayed, one having color (usually the TV) while the other has grey scale (usually the card). The other being the capture card just doesn't find the signal. The following are the connections settings I used and that failed (keep in mind I am working with a flat-screen projector-box-type Mitsubishi TV): Wii - HD composite converter cables - Roxio - HD Composite Cables/USB Cable - TV/PC Wii/GC - Analog Composite (RWY) - Roxio - HDCC/USB - TV/PC Wii/GC - Analog - Roxio - Analog/USB - TV/PC Wii - HDCC - Roxio - Analog/USB - TVPC Wii/GC - Analog - TV Analog Input - TV Analog Monitor Out - Analog - Roxio - HDCC/USB - TV composite Input/PC None gave me what I need, which is color caputre on the Roxio and Color display on the TV. If anyone has any advice, I would be very appreciative. Thank you, Khenpoe
  8. Hello. I've had my roxio game capture HD pro for a few months and only occured slight problems. I've been using the device on the same computer, same tv, and same everything for the past month, and it's been working. However I encountered a problem. A couple days ago I went along my same business but when Ion the xbox turned plugged in Roxio's USB, the capture device lit up, but there was no input.... I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software, and reparing, but to no avail. The USB also didn't appear in the device manager. Any help would be GREAT. Thanks, Apache

No Audio On Tv Or Capture?

After installing the software I am getting no audio on either the TV or the capture software. I am hooked up via HDMI and I am getting video perfectly fine it's just that there is no audio. I read somewhere that in device manager there's supposed to be 2 different Roxio drivers under "Sound, video and game controllers" but I only have one. Help?

  11. I got the hd pro software installed fine and after I reboot my laptop like it says the software wont open, when I double click the icon the windows vista loading icon appears for a split second and thats it, it wont go further than that. I un-installed it and re-installed it 3 times but it's still the same how do I fix this? The specs of my laptop are Dell Inspiron 1520 with vista home premium 32 bit sp2. Intel core2 duo @ 2.00GHz, 3.0Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for this to deliver as I live in Ireland and it wont open on my laptop. The capture card itself is recognized by my laptop so I don't think there's any problems there. I just can't open the software. I've heard about just getting a white screen and green screen but I don't get anything, can anybody help with this please?
