    Error 4 Unstable Connection

I believe is since I upgraded to El Capitan that my Toast 14 do not burn in an external BD burner. Neither did my Toast 12 did. It burn okay form ITunes and other burner apps but not from Toast. I actually have 2 issues. The first is when I create the Blu-ray project in Toast when I click "burn" tells my that my content is PAL (which is not) I am exporting a self content file form FCP 7 and I did't too as reference file. Toast offer me re-encoded to NTSC I click okay and after long time encoding when is ready to burn give me an ERROR 4 Unstable connection. Does not do it on my internal optical drive (is not a BD burner) but yes to my external and it didn't in the past, it worked okay before. My Burner works okay with other apps and Toast works okay with my internal drive and It worked with the external in the past I am exporting the file as HD from FCP. Also I use the same file to create a DVD in IDVD and works fine as NTSC file and Also I was able to create a BD disc ion Leawo but Leawo don't make chapter markers so I need to burn of the BD in Toast. Error Code 32030

I am using a Mac Pro 2X2.26 Quad Core Xeon, 6Gb Ram, OS 10.9.1 Just updated to Toast 11 Pro fron Toast 8, as I started getting "Error Code 32030 Unstable Connection" messages. Disk begins to burn then error window appears and burning stops. This started recently and I upgraded to Toast 11 Pro to try and resolve the issue. I am using the Mac Pro internal optical drive. I went on line for answers and reduced my burn speed down to 4x as that has helped others. My problem still exists. Is this a Roxio or a Mac problem? If Mac, is it software or hardware related? Bottom line is I need to burn disks.

    Blu-Ray "unstable Connection" Error

Hey everyone, I'm on an iMac (Lion 10.6.8), running Toast 11 Titanium, and trying to burn a Blu-Ray DVD. I've installed the plug-in needed. However, the project will go through encoding and multi-plexing, and then give me "Error 4: Unstable Connection" once it starts the "writing" portion. I'm using an external drive from MCE Technologies to do this (It's an LG Venus DS5). I've called their customer service and was told that they have never experience this particular issue with the drive. They suggest a software issue. The computer DOES recognize the drive, so I know that that isn't the issue. It connects via USB 2.0 So far, I have tried burning to both Memorex BD-R Blu-ray discs and Verbatim BD-R Blu-ray discs but have had no luck. I don't want to waste anymore discs, so will have to go and get a rewritable for future tests. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, thoughts, or experience with these issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Stokes
