  1. I'm trying to record my pc with the Roxio Game Cap. Becuase my computer only has HDMI output, and I have a standard version, I have to use a HDMI to Component converter - (i bought http://www.amazon.com/Portta-PETHRV-Component-YPbPr-Converter/dp/B00J22LGYG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1440896032&sr=8-2&keywords=Hdmi+to+componentas my converter). Now with just recording PS3 gameplay without any converters, it works fine. But when using the converter and recording my PC, it doesn't work at all. It will say it finds a signal, and the screen will flicker on for a second, but then it will become distorted with lines, digital noise, and stopping play. It will say it is still recording though, but when I try to view the recording, it says "corrupted file". My cables are fully plugged in. Any help would be appreciated.
