  1. Hello All, I need a little help. When I import from VHS (Roxio Video Capture) it does not keep it at 4.3, instead it stretches it to full screen. I didn't realize it until I burned it to DVD (My DVD)and it looked TERRIBLE. Is there a way to import and keep it exactly how it looks on the VHS? I checked all settings and it looks like you can only choose low, medium, high. I used high. Thank you all in advance! Mike
  2. USB315-3 plugged in and is not recognized even after rebooting and running Roxio Video Capture. Is there a trick to getting this to be recognized or just not supported any longer?
  3. Is there a registry setting to force MediaCapture15 to start-up in "Roxio Video Capture USB" and "DVD HQ" mode? Thanks In advance... JCN
  4. I had the same issue (Dazzle dongle vs Roxio) but I see none of the referenced stuff in Device Manager. Has Roxio packaged the stuff needed to follow "No Video --- Device Showing Up as Dazzle..." ???
  5. How do I capture streaming video on my Mac using Toast 14 Titanium. I want to capture the sound files also not just record the sound from my speakers. I have an iMac i7 Sandy Bridge 3.4 Ghz 16 GB Ram
  6. I am not able to capture audio or video using Creator Pro 4 through my Video Capture USB (UB3 15-E). I am using Windows 7 Professional with 64-bit. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!
  7. I am using Creator NXT 14.0. When I capture from VHS takes, some tapes have video quality issues that cause a "no signal" message and the capture stops. These can be from the stopping and the starting of the original recording or the brief break up of the original recorded image. It only takes a few seconds of poor recording quality and up pops the "no signal". Each time it happens, I must go back and see where the capture stopped and start the capture again. I would like to put the VHS tape in the VCR and have the capture continue regardless of what is on the tape. Is there any way to make this happen? If not on NXT, is this possible on later versions of NXT?
  8. My church is wanting an easy way to make a DVD from a video/audio feed. The video comes from a Sony D90PTZ camera and uses an Svideo out (could use regular VGA out as well). The audio comes via a L/R RCA cord from our main soundboard at the moment but would prefer other options. Tried a Startech USBSVID2USB3 but have issues with Windows 8 sound lag and huge file sizes. Have used Roxio in the past and like them. What current product(s), both hardware and software, would work in my windows 8 environment?
  9. Hello. I just purchased Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus. I am a pretty experienced PC user but I am a total newbie to video capture. The product in question works perfectly on my Windows 7 laptop. I realized that I can use the included USB converter (HU3192-E) also with programs such as VLC, and works perfectly fine too. I was thus wondering if I could connect the USB converter to my Ubuntu machine (xubuntu 13.10) and capture VHS output with VLC on it. I tried to insert it and no driver seems to be loaded for it even though the device is recognized. I searched for a while through Google, but I could not get to any conclusive result--not even to understand whether this is possible or not.... This is the closest to describe my situation: http://www.linuxtv.o...xioEasyVHStoDVD. Practically everything is identical to what described here, but I still do not understand whether it is supposed to work and/or how should I get it to work. Yet, the sentence "To make it work, some have to do modprobe..." seems to suggest that it can be made to work. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks, p.
  10. The box is pretty specific about "USB 2.0" port requirement. Has anybody successfully installed the USB dongle to a USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed) port? My new, shipping, HP laptop only has USB 3.0 ports (qty 4). What about a USB 2.0 on a hub in this case? TIA ---JCN
  11. I'm using Roxio Video Capture, Version 2.0.1 (135). My Mac is a mid 2010 machine running OS X, Ver 10.7.5. The processor is a 3.2 intel Core i3. When I initially launch the program to start capturing VHS or Hi8 tapes, it works fine, bot using the composite or the S-Video (depends upon the camera or player from which I'm recording). The recording is fine, and the program works very well. I like it very much. When I try to capture a subsequent tape, it picks up the video, but not the audio. I tried quitting the Video Capture program and restarting it, but the problem persists. The only thing that works is to restart the Mac, and the Video Capture works fine, but if I attempt to capture a third tape, it loses the audio again. Restarting the Mac fixes it. This is a great big pain. I am not using the Mac for anything else while I'm capturing, nor do I use it after "finishing" the video. I immediately attempt to capture and another tape, but the audio is not working. If y'all have a fix for this, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.
  12. I recently purchased Creator NXT Pro. I am having an issue with the Capture Video program. When I launch it, I get prompted with a dialog box titled "Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack." The message states: "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the 'Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack' disk and click OK." The "Use source" folder defaults to "1". I have extracted the large .exe file into the various components and pointed the installer at the CPDP.msi file in the CPDECODERPACK_434 folder, and when I click OK, I get a message that says "The file C:\...CPDECODERPACK_434\CPDP.msi' is not a valid installation package for the product Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack. Try to find the installation package 'CPDP.msi' in a folder from which you can install Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack." I am basically stuck here, unable to provide the program the file it is looking for, and when I click Cancel, I get another message that says "An installation package for the product Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'CPDP.msi'. Please advise. Thank you.
  13. I have Creator NXT Pro installed on a Dell XPS with Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. When I try to update I get the message "Cannot find the product. Visit the Home Page." Some modules like the video capture appear to start but terminate with no error. Installation went normal with no errors and I've even reinstalled. Very Frustrated!
  14. When I start the video capture facility in Creator NXT, I get the screen shown below. If I remove the error window, it pops up again so quickly, that I have just about time to close the program, if I hurry up, otherwise the window will open again and block the program. I want to use the Roxio USB Analog Video Capture devise that I very recently bought with the program. I have tried to repair the installation with the firewall and AV off, but to no avail. The problem persists regardless weather the USB devise is plugged in or not. The devise manager shows that the system recognizes the devise. I attach a screen shot of my system specifics, all programs are of course updated. I should be most obliged for your expert help.
  15. Can someone help me? I just bought the 'easy vhs to dvd d plus', installed the software, hooked my sony digital 8 handcam camcorder up to my dell inspiron laptop to start transferring video and it wouldn't work. At first I could hear the sound coming through the software, but that stopped and all that I saw on my computer was a green screen. I tried to record twice and then I tried to go into my computer and find the file to see if there in fact was anything recorded and couldn't locate anything. I would really appreciate any help that I can get with this. I have a ton of old hi-8 video to transfer from when my daughter was little and would love to get started on this......
  16. Hi Can anyone help. I updated from 2009 to 2012Pro on my Dell xp and all works fine but slow. So I loaded 2012Pro onto my acer vista. The problem is that on the vista when I try to capture from the sd card or the video camera direct it shows in the Roxio media Import as a disk with a padlock instead of the normal list of images. The cards are not locked. Any ideas please.
