    Hey all, Just purchased Toast 19 Pro today on a really good discount. Everything is fine, and this is mainly a question if this is normal behavior. Under Big Sur 11.3.1, and Toast 19.4 When looking at video settings, the Flash Video Format is greyed out, at F4V. I don't use flash, but when trying my copy of 17.4 Pro in a Catalina VM, this option could be selected. I just wondered if was greyed out now, because flash has been discontinued, and there is no real use for it anymore. Usually I work with AVC or HEVC video, and not flash. I mainly want toast for blu-ray video support, as it's still the best option for the Mac as far as I've been able to find. If anyone can shed some light on this: would be appreciated. Thanks. By the way, since I just purchased 19 today, It's a clean install on Big Sur. I haven't used my copy of toast 17 since I used it on Mojave a couple years ago.

    I Purchased Creator NXT 7 Pro had no signal when trying to capture video from VHS Player . Using HU3192-E. Tried to by new capture device from Roxio Won't sell Just The Capture Device Had To Purchase VHS To DVD 3 Plus To Get The Device. Received Software Loaded On Computer. New Device is HU3180-E . Started New Soft Ware No signal on video. Checked Driver Removed and Reinstalled, Program Doesn't work. Opened nxt7 pro no capture device found, Opened Digital records device is Available and will record Audio from the tape . Just Can't get the Video side of things To work I Do Have A Old Dazzle DV100 it will Capture video . Any Ideas what is going on With The New Devices And The Software? Any other information you need please Ask. I am getting Desperate to resolve this issue Thanks

    When converting the first VHS tape I was able to watch the video in the Media Import Window. When I tried to convert another tape I was not able to see the video. All I got was a white space were the video should be. Any ideas and help would be appreciated. Roxio NXT 6 running on Windows 10

    Is there a way to save the multi-camera project and continuing working on it (selecting cameras, keeping the sync of the video streams) etc? I have an hour long video that I did on two cameras and the amount of time to go completely through it will exceed the length of the videos by several multiples, plus I found syncing by audio very difficult with the two files and had to visually sync based on an easy to see event that's visible in both videos.

    While rendering video files, the program just suddenly stops working. There is no pattern to how far along the rendering is; it can be as little as 12% complete or 84% complete. It just stops working and the Task Manager indicates that the program is simply not responding. It's never done this before & I can't think of anything done recently that might have triggered it off. I have tried shutting down & restarting the computer but the problem persists. Ideas? (This was previously posted in a different area for the wrong product, and is being re-posted here).

    I am running windows 10. I am using desktop version of photoshow. I still can not get video to load to my photoshow. I have tried MOV, AVI, mp4, m2ts(whatever that is). I have tried searching other post and trying suggestion that were posted, no luck. I am making sure they are under the 50mb. I have the premium subscription. Any suggestions?

    Audio-Video Do Not Sync Correctly

    So, I am capturing video with Roxio Video Capture Version 2.0.1 (135) on my MacBook Air that is running macOS Sierra version10.12.4 Beta (16E144f). The audio doesn't sync up with the video. It appears to lag 3-4 seconds behind. Any suggestions as to I might get this corrected? Thanks, MP

    I am using Roxio 2012 Pro on Windows 7. I am also using the Roxio USB adapter that came with the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD software. I like Roxio products. When capturing the video on a resolution other than AVI, it looks good on the preview screen. It looks like the original video. When I play back the video, without editing, it is pixelated where there is action. Is AVI the only capture option that is stable? Is there a capture option or setting that I missed? It would be nice to be able to capture more than 19 or so minutes that my 4g's allow on the AVI setting. What can I do?

    I never had a problem importing video and audio from a DVD to Roxio CD and DVD Burning (Windows Movie Maker) now when I import a DVD and try to edit it on Windows Movie Maker only the audio portion imports I uninstalled and reinstalled CD and DVD Burning to no avail

    Hi, My external drive was stolen and lost many pictures, but in Roxio Media Creator Import can see some of them as thumbnails in the right side pane. Think the thumbnails are stored in the .psod or .dat files, is there any way to extract the images from the database ? The original files where in the external drive. One solution is set to the biggest thumbnail size and then make a screen shot, but that will be time consuming and quality will be lost. If at least I could extract the biggest image and best quality from the database would be great. Any ideas? TIA, Oscar.

    I have an external, blu-ray dvd burner and Toast 9 on my iMac. When I attempt to burn a blu-ray disc, I get the following error msg: Toast 9 Titanium HD/BD Plug-in The Toast 9 Titanium HD/BD Plug-in is required to create Blu-ray Video, HD DVD Video or High Definition on standard DVD discs. As indicated... I have Toast 9, but can only find plug-ins for Toast 14 & it says it only compatible with Toast 11, 12, 14. How can I obtain plug-ins for Toast 9 to create my blu-ray disc? Please advise. Thank you.

    i have a compound problem, and the first head of the problem is that I'm using a 32 bit version of NXT2 on a 64 bit DELL Inspiron AMD quad core laptop with 12 gig RAM. 12 gig, but DELL doesn't let me rededicate the memory to the video graphics card. Any suggestions? How can I trade in my 32 bit and get the 64 bit, and what else can I do to allow the videowave preview to play fluently without stop n go, get out of sync, and usually crash?

    Live Screen Capture Audio

    When I do a Live Screen Capture the resulting movie is wonderful, but the audio is very muffled and hard to hear. I presume that is because I have the Microphone input box checked, and the audio is being recorded through my display microphone which is not placed near my speakers. What is the best way to get good audio when using live screen capture? Is there a way to route the audio directly to Toast without having to go through the microphone which picks up external noise? My real goal is to capture a flash web video composed of F4F fragments. The Toast Capture Web Video capability doesn't appear to recognize this format (system requirements show only FLV and F4V). As I stated above, the Live Screen Capture video turned out just fine, but I can't find a way to grab audio without going from speaker to microphone which adds noise. The Toast 11 utility Spin Doctor had a way to capture audio from a currently running application, but if a similar capability exists in Live Screen Capture, I can't find it.

    Sigh! Yesterday and the day before I recorded/captured a couple of VHS videos. Worked fine. And this morning I continued the work from yesterday, and guess what. "No video signal". Win10Pro and EVD3 Plus.

    Hello Everyone, I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered but since I couldn't find the answer to this specific situation anywhere, I decided to create a new post. I own quite a few movies on iTunes and I would like to burn a DVD or Blue-Ray disk in order to watch them on my Blue-Ray player. Yes, I know I can access my movie library through Apple TV, or just connect my computer to the television, but that is not the point. Especially if such things are not available in lets say, a cabin. I just want to burn a disc, put it in a player, and enjoy the movie. Here is what I did: I downloaded the movie from iTunes. Once in my computer, I used TunesKit For Mac (which btw is awesome!) to remove the DRM rights from the .mp4 file. Then I tried using Toast 14 Titanium to create a DVD-Video. It did not work. It gave the error message "XYZ.mp4 is in an unsupported format and cannot be imported". After doing some research, I read that Toast supposedly only supports .mpeg-2 files. Idk if that's correct. I tried to convert the file using Toast as well only to receive the same message. What am I missing? I feel like it shouldn't be this hard... Here is my system info: - OS X Yosemite Ver. 10.10.5 - Toast 14 Titanium Ver. 14.0 - TunesKit for Mac Ver. 2.8.0 - Optical Drive: MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ267AM Movie file Info: - Kind: MPEG-4 movie - Size: 2.9GB on disk - Dimensions: 1916 x 1076 - Codecs: AAC, H.264, AC3, CEA 608 - Color profile: HD (1-1-1) - Duration: 01:10:22 - Audio channels: 2 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Platform: Roxio Game Capture, running on a HP 255 (64 bit-Quad core, 1.5Ghz, 4GB RAM with Radeon HD Graphics). Issue: Playing video about 2 minutes into the video, the video pauses and the audio continues. On Export (since upload to YouTube has never worked), preview will do the same, but will finish with no errors. On exported video file playback, the video plays until the same spot the video hung on preview, while the audio continues. Steps taken thus far: Switched render from hardware to software Completed a repairof the software installation Installed the patch - was hoping it would also fix the YouTube issue (it did not) We have had the software for well over a year, with no issues whatsoever. About 2 months ago, my son discovered the issue. I hoped that upgrading to Windows 10 might help resolve the issue - but it has not. I browsed through this forum to see if anyone else had the issue, with only a few others reporting it. Their resolutions do not apply to this situation, so hoping someone else can suggest other possible solutions.

    I have some pictures and videos I took with my Nikon D610 camera that I would like to put together in a slideshow. The videos are too long to use Photoshow. I was wondering how I can do this using my larger videos. I would like to put some pictures, then a video, then more pictures. Ideally using captions on some of the photos and videos too. And add music. Is there a simple way to describe how to do this? I would really appreciate it as I would like to put something together by Sunday for Father's Day. Thank you for any help!

    Need Help With Youtube Sign In!

    When I finish editing my video and want to post it, I click on output, then share to YouTube, then next. I sign into my YouTube account, then hit log in. Then the sign in page goes away and nothing happens. No errors come up or anything like that, And I have posted about 30 videos to YouTube successfully, it just doesn't allow me to even get to step two. What am I doing wrong???

    Hi - just purchased a Roxio GameCap HD Pro as an interface to transfer video from DV cassettes to my PC. I have attached the an AV male into the DV Camera's female AV jack - the other end of the cable has a typical yellow, white and red composite cable set which I attached to the Roxio GameCap. I then used the cable that came with the GameCap to attach to a USB port on my PC. While I was able to pick up a signal when I played the tape on my DV Camera the footage comes through as black and white on the PC and also seems to be of a lower quality (lack of colour aside). I ruled out an issue with the DV Camera or AV/Composite cables as when I use the same cables to view the video play from the DV Camera on my TV (plugging into the red/white/yellow females on the TV) there is no issue with lack of colour or video quality. Any thoughts of what may be causing this? Thanks in advance.

    So, I have all the cables plugged in correctly but when I view it on the capture screen, nothing shows up. It is also all blurry and off center on my TV. How can I fix it and get everything to show up properly?

    Hi all Roxio community. I just create this account, to share, how i fix the glitchy video and audio (this works for me). I use a laptop, with an QUAD CORE AMD A10 4600m Processor, this processor has integrated graphics (512MB) with 8gb ram Well let´s get started. 1.- In your desktop, right click, and select "Screen resolution" 2.-click on "make text and other items larger or smaller." 3.- choose this option "Smaller - 100% (default) (In my case, i use laptop, and i use an external monitor, i select the larger option, long ago, then i realized that this option consume more graphics requeriment, so i select the smaller option, and BOOOM!!, when i start to record 0% GLITCHY AUDIO AND VIDEO) Now let´s go to the AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER 1.- right click in your desktop and select "AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER" 2.-GO TO GAMING OPTION 3.-3D APPLICATION SETTINGS 4.- PUT ALL LIKE THE PICTURE 5.- GO AND TEST IT That´s what i did, please comment if this settings works, See you (Sorry for my bad english, im from Mexico )

    Hello! I have been working with the Roxio Game Capture for some time now and I finally sat down and recorded some CoD . Everything looked perfect on the video feed, I had to mess with the audio for some time but no problems there but after I recorded about over 2 hours of game play, MY VIDEO IS ALL FUZZY!!!!! So I switched to a different game and the same thing!!!!! I have no idea how to fix this and I hope this post is up in the right subject, but if anyone knows how to fix this that would be amazing!!! Working with and Xbox 360, 1080i and not to sure about my laptop I'm working with but I know I did just recently purchase it. all cords are perfect and well working. I have zero Idea of what I am doing.

    I've been having these problems since I got my Roxio gamecap. The video up until now has been fine. However now, the video is flickering a lot. I have checked all the cables, and they are secure, so my only other thought is replacing the cable, but if there's anything else I can do to fix it, I'd prefer that over a trip to the city for a cable. The audio however, has always been a problem on Windows 7. It skips, lags, etc. I record only on AVI. I set roxio to high priority. I run as administrator, and I've tried setting the compatibility to Windows XP SP 2. (The reason for this being that the only time my roxio has worked flawlessly with no audio / video issues has been on Win XP, and going back to Win XP is not an option for me. Also the roxio was running on the exact settings it's on now, without issue) So it seems that only Win 7 is giving me the problems. I have included my DXDIAG to show my computer is more than capable of handling the Roxio. DxDiag.txt And a video example to show the exact sound issues I'm having: Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
