Specs of my computer, copied from the systems property: Hewlett-Packard Company HP Compaq dc 7800p Small Form Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz 1.98GHz, 1.95GB of RAM (apparently it's over 2, but it doesn't say that) My problem is that when I plug in my Roxio Game Capture HD into to my computer it will work for about a minute and then my computer will crash and restart, it usually crashes when I start loading a game, but it can record the xbox home menu. Does anyone know why this is happening and can help me? Side Note: I also connect my roxio to my computer with a 49ft usb cable because my computer is far away from my xbox.
I'm trying to set up the 2 Roxio Game Capture Devices that I plan on using to do a recording session for my gaming channel and I keep getting issues where I get a No Signal response and my Xbox won't even show up on my TV or my computer. I've done a lot to attempt to fix it already from switching out HDMI Cords, reinstalling or repairing the software, Temporarily disabling my antivirus software, attempting to change my quality and video bitrate and dozens of other troubleshooting techniques through Youtube and other sources to no prevail. PS: I've also got an error pop up when I'd attempt to repair my Roxio Software. Photos of my attempts below.
I got the roxio game cap pro and I had a problem. When I had the standard one, It saved in a vidoe format I know, but now the pro version stays at .m2ts. Is there a way to change the format to .mp4 or .avi. the .m2ts takes a long time to import it to my editing software. please help.
