  1. Hi! I just got the Roxio to try to mirror my tablet to my laptop. For this, I have also bought a MHL cable for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S to connect the hdmi from my tab to the capture device. When I turn on the roxio software, it gets no signal from the tab, and I know that the MHL cable works since I've tried to connect it directly to a tv monitor. Pleeeasee help anyone?

    Sony Xperia Z1 Capture

Hey I got the Xperia z1 and wanting to capture gameplay for YouTube, got the HDMI lead and plugged it into the Roxio Gamecap HD Pro anyways it's protected... Not sure why as Sony said only the PS3 is HDCP Protected, anyways I got a TV PC Signal Converter HDMI 1080 Input to RGB Component YPbPr & Audio, that works, only problem is the picture is not center... Any ideas???

    Noes This Work With...

Ok, so here's my question: can I record the gameplay output from my Android smartphone. My phone in question is: Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100, outputting video using a MHL adapter with a HDMI cable. I saw a big warning on the Roxio GameCapture HD box saying "HDCP not supported" and seeing how this is a pretty pricy device, I want to know if I can actually use it for what I need to do before considering buying it. Has anyone tried recording the output from a phone/tablet? Or know if I can find out if my phone's output is HDCP or just regular HDMI?
