I am seeking to archive AVCHD raw footage to DVD using the AVCHD function in Toast 11. My camera is now recognized. Toast crashes when I try to create an archive from those files, whether from the camera itself or via the drag & drop copy of the files from hard drive. Anyone have suggestions or experience with this?
I've been having this Roxio for a while and I've never gotten it to actually work. Everything is fine, I have all the accessories it needs but it still doesn't work. The GameCap is "unspecified" as you can see in the picture. I've installed, uninstalled and re-installed the hardware and software many times but it just hasn't worked. Each time I've installed the Software (DVD) then the Hardware (Roxio GameCapture) as the instructions tell you to do but it just still never worked. When I open the program the error "No Signal" pops up and I'm thinking the Roxio might not have a signal because I need to update it. To Update I need a password. Btw, I'm using the Non-HD method but like I said I have all the accessories and I've watched Vaughn Whiskey's tutorial videos many times. Please Help.
I have an issue with Roxio Toast 11 Titanium. It worked fine until I changed the Pioneer BDR205 burner for a BDR208. Now it freezes and burns coasters out of my archive blu-rays. The hardware seems OK. No updates there. I had to change the device because the Panasonic long life blu-rays are tested with the 208, not with the 205. Today I received the following response: Our product experts will investigate and determine if the issue warrants scheduling in a future update/release. We will contact you if more information is required. Somehow that doesn't make me happy. Do they advise me to sit and wait for their experts and meanwhile forget about my archiving? But that's what I bought the license for, well partly at least. I am sad to say, that this is the second issue with Roxio. The fist being about paying full amount for a license although I was upgrading from the version shipped with my external LaCie Blu-ray burner. So, if you have high expectations of the support people of Roxio, think again.
I use the Archive AVCHD to backup my video files from my sony hdr cx7 camera to DVD so that I can have a backup and be able to play it in my bluray player. I usually backup directly from my memory stick and also copy the AVCHD folder to my hard drive for storage and editing. When I try to do a AVCHD Archive with the files on my hard drive I get an error about 2%-10% into the burn. The error is- invalid duration:Video stream duration is not in an integer of video frames. The DVD is still usable after the error. Can anyone help me? I have done several searches and can find nothing about that error message. I usually just copy the BDMV folder to the hard drive.
