  1. Hi Everyone, I have run into a consistent problem on my Win Desktop and all things seem to point to the Roxio USB device. Here's my scenario... Sometimes I use VLC to convert video because I have a video capture card in my machine for IEEE 1349 mini dv tapes etc and convert those to mp4 files. Other times I use Roxio for my VHS conversions using the USB device. I've been successful using the Roxio USB with VLC as well but not the topic. The issue I am having is the audio levels stop working and I've restarted, checked that the device is working properly, audio on the computer works etc and this has happened to me in the past as well and it seems like the only common element is when I've done some DV conversions and then move back to Easy DVD to do my VHS conversions. No idea what's causing this and for the life of me I can't remember how I fixed it the last time. I've taken some screen shots so you know what I'm talking about but has anyone else run into this before and if so how did you rectify it? One Roxio support person once told me I had to create a new Win admin local profile and then go into the Win registry and make edits... seems a bit wonky to have to do that. I need to be able to switch between programs at times depending on the video conversions I am doing. Hoping you all can make some suggestions, thanks!
  2. ok well i have a video but i see now i cannot post the video which would better describe my issues with this roxio. i am very upset right now so please excuse any mispellings and or curse words or angry behavior. i bout this thing stayed up all night. bout component cables, and plugged it up. i see video on my tv as it passes thru the roxio hd pro. purple lights on. were good there. but on my laptop in the roxio preview screen i hear sound for literally 2 - 3 seconds upon program start up then it comes back periodically for a mili second then disappears again. and then second. my video picture lags horribly slow. and at the same time will show multi colors of squares everywhere. ( nothing to do with the game or system ) i have a video ill post to my twitter my username is: ps3_da600gunnaz please help i really tryna get this running and useable. like i said i put alot into this and it does nmot work right wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Hi there I'm having a problem with my roxio game capture HD pro. Whenever I try to record any gameplay from my xbox 360, there is never any audio coming from my TV or in the recorded video, I've tried other HDMI cables but the problem remains. If I connect the xbox to the TV without the roxio HD pro via HDMI the audio is fine. It records perfectly, there just isn't any sound to go with it. I currently have the game capture pro connected to my PC, but I tried connecting it to a laptop, with the game capture pro recording software installed and up to date, but I still got the no audio issue. Also when I connect my xbox directly to my TV, the display settings on the xbox show that my TV screen resolution is at 1080p, widescreen, HDMI. Yet when I'm connected through the roxio HD Pro it changes to 1920x1080, widescreen, DVI. Could this change be what's causing the loss of audio? Any and all help would be appreciated thanks
