  1. Hi - just purchased a Roxio GameCap HD Pro as an interface to transfer video from DV cassettes to my PC. I have attached the an AV male into the DV Camera's female AV jack - the other end of the cable has a typical yellow, white and red composite cable set which I attached to the Roxio GameCap. I then used the cable that came with the GameCap to attach to a USB port on my PC. While I was able to pick up a signal when I played the tape on my DV Camera the footage comes through as black and white on the PC and also seems to be of a lower quality (lack of colour aside). I ruled out an issue with the DV Camera or AV/Composite cables as when I use the same cables to view the video play from the DV Camera on my TV (plugging into the red/white/yellow females on the TV) there is no issue with lack of colour or video quality. Any thoughts of what may be causing this? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello, I've been trying to record my Gamecube using a standard Roxio Game Capture, but the best I can get is the video in black and white. The audio is fine but the picture is what is worrying me. I'm using component cables as has been recommended on this forum, but it's still not working. I'm guessing in the options there is the ability to switch the capture to a standard definition so it won't need the blue and green cables, as all of the video has to go through the yellow.
  3. Hey everyone. So my issue is that my roxio game cap when hooked through my PS3 to my tv displays as black and white (no color) on my TV. I have color on the pc though (the feed coming in from my TV). I have had this problem before but generally switching wires around fixes it, but not this time. Any suggestions/fixes?
  4. When I try to record it shows rainbow lines across my screen on my computer it does not completely cover the screen but their way to big for me to use the footage. In addition it records in black and white which I found bizzare. Should I return it or am I the one doing somthing wrong setting it up. The audio works perfectly fine though. I just got a theory that maybe because im using a usb extention it has a bad signal? please reply.
  5. Hello admins and users of the Roxio forums. I am in dire need of techincal assistance. You see I recently bought the standard version of the Roxio game capture device with some AV component cables that I purchased from Gamestop. I'm going to make this as short as possible, when I attempt to record gameplay footage with the device it works perfectly except for one thing. The video qualityis great and the audio quality is perfect. The problem is with the color. When I try to record on my PS3 the colors become very messed up and bizzare. When I try to record the Wii, the colors become black and white. ANy help on the subject would be much appreciated.
