  1. Im trying to use the videowave to edit a commentary for my channel. I usually use my astro a40 headset as a mic. I plugged in the headset and hit the microphone icon in videowave. when the Narration window pops up i hit record and then start talking. After i hit stop and try to listen to it, it shows the audio clip in the editing section but when the video plays over that part there is no sound. All i hear is the gameplay, no voice over. How do i fix this?
  2. quick question. when i use the roxio game capture pro hd, and i want to record commentary, i either have to use the mic i purchased, which is hooked up to my laptop while playing to record my voice overs, or do it after i am done playing. this is not the most efficient way, i would like to know if it is possible to record the voiceover using the microphone on my polk audio striker pro zx gaming headset, as i play the game live. if its possible to do this with this game capture, does anyone know how?

    Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

Okay, so I've had the Roxio Gamecap HD Pro for a little over a year now, i would say it's worked perfectly for that duration but that would be a lie, I've looked all over for a solution to my problem but no matter how hard i look i just can't find anything to help, basically my problem is that i record using the Roxio (For my gameplay) and use Audacity (For commentary). I start my commentary audio as soon as i see the button turn red (So usually about 1 second difference between the 2) although when i end the video & commentary audio, the video is somehow longer (Varying from 20 seconds to 2/3 minutes depending on how long I've recorded for) but what i don't understand is that i record & end them only seconds within each other. When recording, both seem to work fine & i know my computer is capable of handling this software, i just have no idea what it could be, I've tried literally everything with next to no success, if anyone can help then it would greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Roxio With Commentary On Xbox 360

I have purchased a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro in order to make my own YouTube videos like everyone else. While it works very well, I can't seem to get my Capture device to capture commentary with my friends voices simultaneously from my Turtle Beach X12 headset on the Xbox 360. I have searched videos and articles and have found one video, although it was for PS3, and they claimed it would work on Xbox 360, however it does not. I am looking for a straight forward, cheap way to fix this using my current headset and without having to spend a lot of money to get this fixed. List of items I have -Xbox 360 -2 HDMI cables and set of Standard def/HD component cables -HD TV -Laptop with Roxio Capture/Edit Software -Roxio HD Pro -Turtle Beach X12 headset http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/pc-headsets/ear-force-x12/56 -Lots of confusion Thanks.
  7. I've got a roxio game capture, an xbox 360, and a Blue Snowball mic which is only connected only to my PC with a USB. I want to record live commentaries, but I can't find a solution. I've tried enabling stereo mix, but that didn't work, i tried recording my voice in audacity, but I couldn't sync the two to save myself. Any help is greatly appreciated!
