  1. On a Macbook Pro, I burned many bluray discs with AVCHD video file with Toast 11 on my Samsung external writer and now that I need to recover one video file, I only see a big BDMV file with a "certificate" folder aside. Inside the "Certificate" folder there is a "Backup" folder but it is empty. What do I do to recover the AVCHD files?
  2. I friend of mine put a new hdd in my old Gateway laptop, and instead of using my recovery disc that came with the laptop, he apparently used a copy of Windows XP Professional. This was years ago btw. Anyway, one day my computer updated and said that I had been running a trial version and it locked me out of all my data. Another friend that I worked with at Best Buy, who is a Geek Squad agent, said since I didn't have an external hdd to transfer the data to, he had to use Roxio disc spanning to recover all my data to dvd. He told me all I had to do was start putting the dvds into my laptop and autorun would do the rest. Well, it doesn't work and I have 6 dvds with all my pictures and music and documents on them and I have no idea how to recover any of it. Can anyone please help me here?
