okay So I have got my Game cap pro hooked up to my LG tv and Xbox 360 using HDMI cables, I have the software installed on my laptop and the game cap pro plugged in correctly, the issue I'm having is I am getting no picture on my TV and on the Computer software I'm getting a flickering preview screen with horizontal blue lines and red oblongs, For some reason the PRT SCREEN I took isn't showing the full problem... has anybody had this issue before and know of a fix? thank you Lee
Right so I have had an overall decent experience with this device however I have ran into some problems recently. When recording black screen transitions (not sure if there is a technical term for this) the final recorded video file is a bit glitched from the fore mentioned transition onward. When importing into Roxio Videowave it comes up as a singular file in the timeline that is all messed up, problems include: > Delayed audio > Small video loops (only happens around the transition) > Clipped/Looped audio (only happens around the transition) > Stays on a blank screen for longer that it did at the time of recording No signs of these problems are present in the preview window on the software, and on further testing I have found that it only affects videos that are set to record >720p bit-rate doesn't seem to affect it nor does length of recording. Here is the bit that I find puzzling... Upon importing the same video file into CyberLink PowerDirector 12 it comes up as multiple files, most of which are the clipped/looped audio/video glitched bits that I mentioned previously as well as some one, two or three second silent video files that are just a black screen. The rest of these files are just the recordings from the point I clicked start capture up to the transitions (then all the glitched stuff is there) then every point after the transition (e.g the actual game-play) until the next transition. The audio is synced fine in these files its just really irritating to have to delete the parts that aren't supposed to be there. Does anyone else have this problem if so help would be appreciated. Howdy, I'm having trouble with a faulty HDMI output port on the Roxio HD Pro. The RHDP will connecl to my laptop, capture and do its job. The output will not show on my TV regardless of settings, different cables, etc I just get 'no signal' on the TV screen when set to the appropriate HDMI port. I don't have a set of component cables to try and see if that works although really the HDMI port should be working. It's probably the port as I have had a replacement RHDP that works fine with the same wires and settings etc. I've also stalked this forum, youtube, google etc and can't get a clear answer. Long story short, I now have two RHDP's and want to fix the port on the faulty one, if that's even possible. Either a repair or even replacing the HDMI port itself? It could also be that the RHDP is not even outputting at all, I had taken that into account. Can anyone here help please? Cheers
I am already aware of the 'streaming' problems side of things, but my problem is affecting me from even 'Recording'. This is how I have it currently setup: PS3 Specific Component Cable is going directly into the device (Green, Blue, Red, White/Red) The 'output', I simply have a 'Hdmi' cable going from the device directly to my TV. Then on the PS3 display settings: My Video Output | Sound are both set to the 'component' Option. [x] Standard (Pal) [x] 576p [x] 720p [x]1080i [ ]1080p <--- Left un-ticked as stated. Then when I connect the Device to my PC, My PS3 display comes up as normal on my TV (hdmi channel). The problem occurs when I run the Roxio Software, I click 'capture' it loads, then my entire screen is covered by this blank flickering screen making it unable to do absolutely anything leading me to use Task Manager to quit Roxio Software!!! Why is this happening? It doesn't give me a chance to even change any of the options via the Software because of this huge flickering screen. HOWEVER*** After Quitting Roxio Software I simply unticked all resolutions but [x] 576p on the PS3 Display Settings and the problem stops and everything works normal. I specifically purchased the Roxio HD to record in 720p, but it's not possible. Please Help, Thanks.
