  1. Hello everyone ! I'm the same guy that started this thread more than a year ago : http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/91082-rox-and-roxio-sample-files-to-download/ We modified our software so it outputs .ROX files instead of .RCL files. We did it using NXT2 file format so we are wondering if we need to tweak it again because NXT3 is available and NXT2 is not really available anymore. In short, are NXT2 .ROX files compatible with NXT3 .ROX files ? If you do not know but if you could send me a file sample to download, that would be much appreciated. You can obfuscate the contents of the sample file if necessary, as long as the xml tags are kept untouched. Thank you very much for your help, Konnan
  2. i was just attempting to upload a dmsm onto youtube and it stopped me because it said it was unsupported. how can i convert this file type?
  3. So i recently got the Roxio HD pro capture card and everything is going fine. The problem is this, i press capture and record my gameplay, lets say 30 seconds, and when i drop it into sony vegas pro 11, it only shows 2 seconds of the video. It isnt even a video anymore, it's just a still image of the video, 2 seconds of it. I also played the 30 second video in windows media player, and it shows all of the 30 seconds i recorded just fine. Why is Vegas only showing 2 seconds of the video?
  4. I'm experiencing some problems. A few months ago I posted some video's to test my video quality of my Roxio game Capture HD Pro to make it work in 1080i. It worked and I was excited to post allot more video's on Youtube. Then I put the capture card away since I didn't have time for it. Then today I reopened it because I wanted to make sure if I still remember how it works and everything. I captured in 1080i on 15000 Kbps. When I was done editing it I exported it in a wma file. When I logged into my youtube account and pressed upload the video couldn't be uploaded because it failed to process due to the fact the video wasn't in the right format. It was in Dmsm which the default file. I don't know why it didn't work I tried many things to make it work. The settings were exactly the same I had from a few months ago when it uploaded onto youtube with no problem. I tried to change the settings and the format I was exporting it. I tried different browsers like internet explorer, chrome, firefox, to see if it would work on them and I also tried uploading the video's to different accounts. Then I uninstalled and installed my Roxio game capture card hd pro program again and it STILL DIDN'T WORK!!!!. I give up if this is the type of problems i'm having after spending 120 dollars on this thing then it is a complete waste of money and I want my money back. Please help.
  5. Dear Roxio forums. I'm a happy owner of Toast 11, and I have a movie file on my mac that I want to convert to a wii compatible format. But I'm having a issue when trying to convert the file. It is possible for me to convert the file in Toast without any problems, but when i examine the file size of the converted file, the file size is multiplied by a factor around x10 - x15. For example my original file has a file size of 117,4MB and the converted file has a file size of 1,77GB (wii best) or 1,09 GB (wii standard)!?! What is going wrong? I hope that you can answer my question since I really like Toast, and I don't want to find a new program to convert video files in. Sincerely Simon P.S. The file that I want to convert has the following specifications (according to Finder): Type: MPEG-4-movie Size: 177,4MB Resolution: 1280 x 720 Codecs: H.264, AAC Length: 15:44
