  1. When I try to drag files from my JVX GZ-R450 nothing happens. I tried capturing directly from the camera (files show that they are locked) and I've moved the files to my computer and I can't get the "MTS" files to show up in my project. Please help.
  2. I used Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac to record overnight. The manual says to have at least 15 GB before recording. Well, I had 45 GB and they are all gone! I couldn't even save the video I spent all night recording because Roxio some how ate up all that space. I have been searching for an hour for some kind of temporary or render file that may have saved to no avail. Yes, I have restarted my computer. Yes, I know where my movie files are going to save. I looked to see how big the .mov file that failed to save was and it was only 5MB. I deleted it. Still 45 GB GONE. Please, please help. Thank you.
  3. Once I get my song files in order to burn a cd, I begin burning. After the cd is complete and finished, I go to play it and it ends up burning the cd in ALPHABETICAL order instead. How can I keep the order of songs the way I organize them initially? I've already wasted 4 discs and it does the same thing EVERY time
  4. Greetings. I am rather new to Toast and this should be fairly simple, but it's got me stymied. I'm using Toast 9.0.1 with a Mac 10.5.8 and I've been burning to dvd data files of movies and episodes of whole seasons of tv shows. With the first few discs I burned, I was able to later insert any burned disc and move-to-desktop (copy on to my desktop) individual files and folders so that I could watch one or two episodes while another disc was burning or the drive was otherwise in use (and also to take advantage of the faster processing). But now, all the rest of my burned discs will not allow me to copy files or folders from a disc I burned; all I can do is duplicate THE ENTIRE DISC rather than just a few files. And this is true regardless of format (avi, mkv, or mp4). I can't figure out what in the world has changed from those first batches to the later ones or why there would be such a distinction. The discs are all the same. "Preferences" gives no indication. Before burning the latest disc, I searched for a checked box option or some setting that closed off future copying of burned data. Nothing. And I can't figure out HOW to search for a topic like this in Toast Help (or on this forum) without overloading the search matrix. Now I'm stuck because I have lots more data to burn but I don't want to make any more discs without first resolving this issue. It seems ridiculous that I can't copy to desktop files from a disc I burned myself. PLEASE HELP!
  5. I usually like to record for long periods of time with my roxio game capture hd pro, but sometimes I only want a little clip out of that recording, and when I edit the clip out that I want, I have to keep the large file of the whole recording or else I lose my clip. Is there is a way where I can keep my small clip but I don't have to keep the giant recording file? Should I render out my small clip and then delete the large recording file? Any suggestions are appreciated!
  6. I purchased Toast 11 Titanium thinking it would be a great program. I'm trying to burn to a 50gb dual layer bluray and I'm receiving an error telling me that I can not burn more than 98 files to the disc. What gives? I have close to 500 separate video files from my vacation and i bought blank 50gb dual layer discs thinking this would work. 98 files barely makes a dent in the disc. I am NOT using 5 discs for this. What's the point if there is a limit to how many files can be burned? Can somebody please help? Did I really just buy a program that will be useless to me? PS I'm using a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.8.2 2.8ghz Intel Core i7 with 8gb of RAM if that matters. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance.
