Hello, I have Roxio Video Capture Version 3.1.0 (141) and I'm using it with a Mac - I've tried on MacOS 10.12.5 as well as MacOS 10.11.6 just in case the newer OS broke something with the Roxio software. I'm attempting to capture video from a VCR over composite cables. I have tried with other sources as well with no success. The cables are transmitting a signal, so there is definitely something to capture, however: The preview screen always shows a green screen. I've never seen video come through. The audio comes through for 1 second when the screen capture hardware is first plugged in, then goes silent. If I play with the volume in the sound preferences, sound is then audible (see the attached video clip of the screen during recording). The video file saves as an .mov file, but appears to be only an audio track, although there is no sound on that track. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?     Green Screen Problem

    Hello, I have connected all the cable of my VCR to the USB device as requested but I can never get video on the preview screen. All I get is a green screen and sometimes the sound works for a few seconds but no more. My problem is NOT that I don't have a video signal, it is that when the program detects the tape it won't show anything. I am using an ASUS computer and am relatively sure the problem is not the USB port. If anyone know what to do please help me.
  3. Hello, I have the Roxio Game Capture (Standard). My current setup is as follows: Xbox 360 Component Cable -> Roxio Game Capture -> Component to VGA cable (Into Samsung MONITOR NOT TV) The problem is that the monitor is showing everything in green. Now before you ask me to change my cables I will say - I have checked the Xbox Component cable, it is working fine in a TV (and incidently also works in the Capture software, picture comes through clear as day) and I have also tried 3 componenet to VGA cables with no change in display (everything green... remember? ). So the problem is somewhere between the Roxio Game Capture unit and the monitor. Now the monitor works with other VGA devices so can't be the monitor, and the cables (as I have said) have been checked. IS there something I am missing? I am at a loss... Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hi everyone, I got my roxio gamecap hd pro last friday, and once i plug it in to my tv, the output to my computer is clear and normal, but my tv screen has got a major green tinge. any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated thanks, Josh
