  1. Hey guys, maybe you can help me figure out what the problem is with my setup. I've been trying to capture on my Wii on my laptop with my Roxio using the YPbPr cables, but every time I have my laptop plugged in with the A/C adapter, it makes my TV screen flicker so bad I can't clearly see what I'm doing in order to make a good recording. When I unplug either the A/C adapter for my laptop, or unplug the USB cable for my Roxio, the picture on my TV goes back to normal. It's almost as if the A/C adapter and the USB cable are interfering with each other. What are the possible causes and fixes for this? Thanks for any help you can offer.
  2. Hey everyone I was looking to get a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO, but when I looked into it a bit it seems that it requires an HD TV to record in HD. I have an older TV so I am not sure if I can. I thought a little bit and came up with an idea to get this HDMI to RCA compnent AV cable. I attached a picture of what it looks like so you may have a better idea of what I mean. I was thinking of putting the HDMI into the Roxio and putting the component (red, yellow, white) into my tv. Then of course I would put the rest of it together like it normally would be. I wasn't sure if this would work so I could record in HD. If not would I be able to crop it in 16:9 (or whatever the right size for a youtube video would be) Could anyone please let me know? That would be great! Thanks!
  3. Well, I've been looking for this information all around and didn't find anything! That's why I'm openning a new topic... Well, I'm really interested on buying this new Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, though my goal isn't capture games. Actually I have so many vhs tapes that I've been recording since forever and I want to transform them on dvd, it would be nice if I could do that with this product. Also, I have this cable tv, like Tivo system, I can record shows and stuff but they keep locked inside the decoder, it means, I can't transfer them to my computer and make blu-ray discs. So, that's my biggest concern, I know the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro was developed for gamers, though it could be really usefull to my situation! I want an opinion... Did someone already try capture from the cable decoder, from a vcr, or even a dvd? If someone already did such thing and worked fine, definetly I'll be buying this product asap! I know there is a different product to convert VHS to DVD, but I wish I could have just one product that will make everything I need, capturing 720 or 1080! Oh, also, I want to know if it works fine on Macs! Thanks, everyone!
