  1. I have burned a 1hr20min iMovie file onto a DVD-R disc using Titanium 11 on this late 2009 iMac with OSX v10.11.6 (El Capitan). The resulting files on the disk are BDMV and Gertificate. Quicktime Player and Quicktime 7 will not play the file. I see a message that QT cannot read the file. Neither does a Sony Blu-Ray player. I have also burned the iMovie file onto a similar DVD-R disc successfully which plays anywhere.Even the Sony. However I would like to see the movie in full resolution on my TV and computer screen. On a Panasonic Blu-Ray player, DMR BS780 the disc plays perfectly. In conversation with the shop salesman just now he infers that home made Blu-Ray discs may contain unacceptable files. I may take the machine back for an exchange. Any suggestions?
  2. About 1/2 of the time when I CONVERT to MP4 or BURN it never makes it to 100%.. Any suggestions? I am converting .tivo files into mp4 and then burn on dvd. Seems like if I do not refresh the Finder directory it never makes it past 100%.... Any suggestions?
  3. I have an iMAC that is about a year old. I purchased the easy VHS to DVD at a store and thought I could find a downloadable version of the software online, but now I see there is very little customer support available. Is a download available or should I return the product to the store! I have a pile of VHS home movies to convert and was looking for an EASY solution! Thanks.
  4. Toast 10.0.9 cannot find my dvd/cd writer which is connected with USB. I am using an iMac with OS 10.10. Connection is supposed to be with an external Samsung DVD/CD Writer S084D. Toast gives me the pull down to select a burner, but it asks me for an I.P. like number. There isn't any for a USB device. H E L P ! ! H E L P ! ! H E L P ! ! H E L P ! ! H E L P ! ! H E L P ! !
  5. I saved disk images (.gi files) of a bunch of CDs on Roxio Creator on a PC a few years ago and I'm now running Toast on an iMac. I'm trying to burn CDs from the .gi files and Toast doesn't recognize the files. Anybody know how I can burn these CDs?
