  1. I have just setup a new Windows 10 PC with nothing else on it except a new Operating system, I have done all the updates and it is running fine NO OTHER SOFTWARE installed AT ALL! I have downloaded the latest Roxio Game Capture HD Pro software (2.0) and installed, I have then run the software and it has updated to 2.1. When ever I connect the Game Capture HD Pro to the unit it seems to be OK, the light appears on the device, I then tell it I want to capture, then once the screen loads I try to select 'Component' from the Input settings and EVERY time I do this the software just hangs, even the selection box is stuck in the selection of Component/HDMI. I would try an HDMI source but I do not have any available so I don't even know if this device works, brand new straight out of the box! Any help would be much appreciated... James
  2. I download video clips off of my Canon HF S21 camera to my pc (windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit) in .MTS format. When I go to open them in Video Wave to start a new production it will not recognize them. I have had this camera for 2 years and just now this problem came up. I used it all last year and then late last year updated to NXT Pro3 with no issues at that time. This s a new problem. Any suggestions?
  3. Hi all, I'm not very technologically inclined so excuse my ignorance while writing this post. I have been using the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus to transfer old home videos to my laptop. Up until today everything has been working fine. I've been able to transfer 20 + VHS tapes to my computer. However, when I went to start working on them again today, I have no Video signal anymore. Literally nothing has been touched on my laptop since last night when it was working fine. Cords are still plugged in right where I left them, everything should be in order. The weirdest part of this is that whenever I fast forward or rewind the tape, Roxio picks up a video signal and starts showing me whats on the tape. However, when I press play on my VHS...no video signal! What is this sorcery?!?!? Can anybody help?
  4. Alright, so when I go to record anything whether it be WiiU, Wii, or Xbox360 there is a major problem: there is a major lag (about 4 seconds) between what's actually happening on the console and what's happening in the roxio capture window. For example, when playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies, when I hit "A" to jump, it doesn't register on the screen until about 4 seconds later. This problem is not restricted to the 360 however, it also happens when recording on Wii and WiiU. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to leave a picture of my computer's system properties here in case anyone has any questions pertaining to them http://gyazo.com/63017f0faf052923a023c6b6838c6b71
  5. Ok so when I have a 'Roxio Game capture HD pro' and I have some Playstation component cables. http://goo.gl/JeibS7 - the cables I use My PS3 setup is as follows: Playstation 3 --> Component cables (input) --> Roxio --> HDMI (output) --> HDMI switch box (output) --> Monitor/TV My PS2 setup is: Playstation 2 --> Component cables (input) --> Roxio --> Component cables (output) --> TV With the PS2 setup the image comes out very dark (image attached). I have also attempted to output in HDMI which does not output a dark image but a box appears in the middle of the screen (also attached as an image). If I connect the PS2 directly to the TV through component it works with full colour, and I can also output my PS3 through component (through the Roxio device) and have no problems it is only when I attempt to output the PS2 does it go dark. Notes: In the Roxio software the PS2 image comes out in full colour. I have also tried it without the switch box but i get the same result (box appears). I have also tried to try HDMI --> TV, but i get a purple image. I have also tried to fix the image using my TVs setting but I can't fix it.
  6. I currently have my PC hooked up to record from my Xbox at the moment. All of the wires are in the correct places. I turn on my xbox, load up the capture section and ... nothing. All I get is the interface doing nothing. As you can see in the picture, I have no chooseable option for source or settings. I've tried uninstall/re-install, I've tried nearly all the suggestions on how to get this fixed, to no avail. Those two options never pop up. I believe it's something to do with the box or the wire from the box to the PC because, somewhat ironically, I get source and settings when I remove the PC cable. Also, the holes where I place the cables are loose, to the point where I have to tape them to the box to get them to stick in. Now, i've had this roxio unit for around two years, but I didn't get to use it for a year because of technical issues with my old PC. It never got out of the box during that time. Then I got my new PC, and got it working. For around 2 weeks, then it just stopped, and hasn't worked for the past 9 months! so, here are my questions: 1) Is there any solution to fix this without dissembling the capture box? IF NO TO 1: 2) Does taking apart the capture box null+void any policies attached to it? IF YES TO 2: 3) Can someone tell me how to ask for a refund/replacement because of "shoddy build quality".
  7. Hi there! Problem: Roxio records fine onto Laptop and picture displays in HD, but no signal to monitor to display video, even with manual monitor input selection (it also has VGA input) My connectors are as follows: XBOX 360 HDMI Out -> HDMI Roxio HD Capture Pro IN ->HDMI Out -> Apple Branded HDMI to DVI-D (Dual Link) Adaptor -> DVI-D (Single Link) cable -> Samsung 2232bw Monitor DVI IN. + USB Roxio -> USB Vista Laptop Extra Info: -My Xbox works fine connecting the monitor via the DVI HDMI adaptor setup directly without the Roxio -Video output fine using another display when DVI adaptor not in use with direct HDMI output (with and without Roxio) I know this makes it seem like the Roxio will not work with a DVI adaptor, but this post seemed to suggest otherwise, I just couldn't work out how to do it! http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/83745-hdmi-input-to-hdmi-output-to-hdmi-dvi-cord-for-pc-streaming/ Thanks for your help, Max
  8. So i'm trying to record my xbox 360 gameplay but it will not pick up sound.
  9. Hey everyone . Firstly id like to say I love my ROXIO HD PRO and have never had a problem with it until as of recently after not using it for about 2 weeks it hasnt worked properly. The first thing that happened was it kept coming up saying select device not found so I followed this http://forums.suppor...vice-not-found/ and it helped fix the problem but now all i have is a blank screen where it doesnt seem to be recieving input even tho the USB Device is working and the XBOX 360 is working on the TV. Also i am using a 2m USB extender which works great and has never had problems with. This is my current setup And this is what I am getting on my computer everytime i try and use it after unplugging it and reconnecting all the leads even reinstalling it all from CD. Also here are my PC Specs: Motherboard - ASUS S1366 P6X58D-E Motherboard CPU - Intel Core i7 950 3.07GHz @ 3068 MHz CPU Cooler - Zalman CNPS10X GPU - ASUS ATI Radeon HD 5870 RAM - 6gb tripple channel 1600mhz Power Supply - OCZ 700W ModXstream PRO DVD - Pioneer DVR-219BK 24x DVD DL Burner SATA Black HD - 1TB Seagate 7200rpm SATA 6Gb/s HDD Monitor - 23" Led Samsung monitor Keyboard - Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse - Logitech HID Operating System Windows 7 64Bit Hope someone can help me out
  10. Hey guys I recently purchased a roxio game capture hd pro for my youtube channel and i've been loving it! It was working just fine everything about it on my old tv. But now I have a new tv that is hd(unlike the old one) and i've been having some troubles. All the cables are plugged in correctly and the xbox is running and the light for the capture is on. However, when I plug the usb into the laptop and start the capture, it starts spazzing out for a while going back and forth between hdmi and component, but when it stops, instead of seing what's playing on my xbox, i see a blue screen but I CAN HEAR THE XBOX AUDIO. It also says there's no input. Im confused and haven't found anything like this on the previous forums. Anyone have advice?
  11. I have an Input of a HDMI signal (Xbox -> HDMI -> Roxio) but there is no output (Roxio -> Component Cable -> TV. I have read the sides and I know which side is which. Can the wires not cross?
