    Recording Pc

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way for me to record my pc with my roxio game capture hd and have it send the video to an ipad so that i dont need two computers.
  3. I am trying to rip an instructional DVD so that I can play it on my iPad with the Menus. I would like to have the main menu and submenus. Since this is an instructional video I am not going to be watching it start to finish like I would a movie, but need to jump around the video to the various sections that show how to do specific things. I dragged the Video_TS folder created by RipIt for Mac to Toast 11 Titanium and used the convert feature selecting iPad as the output type. Toast 11 ripped this as 9 separate movies. Is there a way to rip this movie using Toast 11 so that I get 1 movie file with a menu and submenus that allows me to jump to various sections of the movie?
  4. I just recently starting having an issue with my rendering process completely locking up my computer. Total lockup, where the cursor freezes, keyboard doesn't respond, screen completely locked. It happened while Skyping with my cousin, and I could still talk to and hear him, but absolutely nothing else was responsive. I had to hold the power button to shut down. This problem started when I tried to render a production. I have since troubleshooted it a bit and I think I have narrowed down the issue to rendering anything that requires the iPad (which I THINK is MPEG4) codec. DivX works fine, Windows Media format works fine, but if I try any of the iPad options or if I try to render to send straight to YouTube, it completely locks up. Here are my system specs: Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit) Premium RAM: 8.00 GB CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2 GHz GPU: Powercolor AMD Radeon HD7750 1GB DDR3 I have done an uninstall/reinstall, I have done a repair from the disk, I have made sure all of my hardware drivers/software is updated, I am not running antivirus, I have allowed all exceptions through firewall, I have tried running as and not as administrator, I have done a memory diagnostic test, (which I don't completely trust as my computer has been blue screening randomly with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and BAD_POOL_DATA errors for weeks even after replacing everything BUT the RAM, but that's a question for another forum), and I have both defragged the drives and cleaned the registry. It truly seems to be whatever particular codec does the encoding when you format it for iPad devices or YouTube. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hello and Thanx to All for Your Suggestions, I am using the "Edit Video Advanced" mode in Roxio Creator Pro 2010 to convert an imported iPad movie in .MOV format. The .MOV file itself was imported to my PC with no problem, and I can play it with QuickTime or WMP with no problem, but when I try to add it to the production in VideoWave all I get is a green screen ? Any ideas or suggestions ? Thanx Again ! Jim Tucson, AZ
  6. Ok, so basically I just got this product which I have tested and it works great (although still need to improve quality settings). So I wanted to ultimately stream the game play footage IN REAL TIME to my iPad. After research, to do this I released I needed an app to view the laptop screen in real time (which after testing works well) So all I need now is a way of streaming the xbox game play footage to my laptop in real time (ie. without the 2 second delay as with the software). I have seen this being done with the roxio here: (however have not quite found out how he does it yet (claims to use a webcam like recorder called AMCap but couldn't get it to work after testing) My laptop supports USB, VGA, (and another laptop HDMI out (to duplicate laptop screen) but not mine so not ideal for long-term) . My local tech shop where I got the capture card said this would solve the problem: http://www.maplin.co.uk/pc-to-tv-box-223833 but not convinced I need another piece of hardware! Also this might be relevant (in FAQ section): Can I use Roxio Game Capture HD PRO to play live games on my computer display? Yes as long as your computer display can take HDMI or Component input. Instead of connecting a TV, you can connect your computer display as an output with Roxio Game Capture HD PRO device so the video can be passed through in real time to your computer display. You still need to connect the capture device via USB with a laptop/PC for recording though. The preview in the Capture software has about 2 second delay as it is required for the hardware to process the video. Please could anyone help!
  7. I am running 11.7.4 OSX and Toast 11 Pro Titanium 11.0.6, tried converting a Tivo video file to Apple TV or iPad @ 1080p, Toast goes through the process of exporting the file to be store in iTunes library but when Toast completes it opens iTunes and switches to Movie library but it does not create a file. Any advise or help here?
