  1. I have Roxio Creator NXT2 running on a Windows 10 PC. It worked fine for a long time, but in the last month, I've run into crashes. Typically, here's what I do: Step 1 - set up to play and record the cassette. Record a wav file as one long track Step 2 - enter the track separators in the wave form; click Tag, enter the shared info - album, artist, genre; click Tag again: enter each track Title, number, repeat for all, click Done Step 3 - all the tracks show in the left panel; click Export, select .mp3 format, select Target folder in Windows Explorer; click OK - songs go to target folder as .mp3 files The crashes typically happen at the end of Step 2, when I hit 'Done'. Everything vanishes, screen reverts to Main initial display and I yell 'Dammit' or '#$@ of a &*(^!' or worse. I've tried re-booting. No dice, same problem. Last night I uninstalled the software, then discovered I don't have the disk. I believe I upgraded from Creator 7 to NXT2. I have the Creator 7 disk, also have the NXT2 key code. My questions are: How to reinstall Roxio Creator NXT2 so I can re-try and see if it works. May have gotten corrupted like this old bugger. If the above does not work, any other suggestions. Thanks in advance, best wishes and stay safe in these bizarre times. Terry
  2. Can't seem to locate the data on this one. Does the sound editor packaged with REV2D+3 recognize Mp3s for editing? I am assuming not since the interface cant find the Mp3 music. Just making sure before I purchase another software solution. Thanks for any feedback!
  3. Hello all, just had a few questions I need answered before I pull the trigger on this software. Can it burn ISO's and rip DVD to an ISO? Can it rip music to MP3 and convert MP3's to WMA or other formats? Is there any type of DVD maker with menus? Can it handle VOB's? I think I know the answer to one of the questions but can't seem to find any answer to the others. Thanks in advance!
  4. I currently use Creator 2012 Plus. I attempted to make an audio cd using mp3 files. This part of the program will not recognize mp3 files and they are not listed in the supported files listing. However, if I convert the mp3 to a .wav file, I can make the audio cd in that manner. Is there anyway that this function can be made to recognize the mp3 file for this usage. Reading some of the articles addressing supported files, mp3 is listed. If so why is my program not recognizing it for what I want to do with them. Seems like an awful lot of work to first convert to .wav and then to audio than to just converting the mp3 to audio
  5. Curious to know...I'm intrigued by the audio and video capabilities of Roxio Creator NXT 2 and before I purchase, I'd like to know a little more about the 'pitch' selection within the Effects menu... I watched the online tutorial showing this feature. I am interested in changing the pitch (or key) of my mp3 music from, say, A=440Hz to A=432Hz. Does the pitch feature on this software allow for such a change - or how does it work specifically? Thank you.
  6. My friend has purchased music from a local artist who sent me zip files. After extracting them, we end up with mp3 files. The Roxio Creator Business V10 audio section says that .mp3 is an illegal format to copy onto a CD. Is there anyway I can fix this by configuring the Roxio software? Or must I go back to the artist to ask for a different audio format? (My friend is a Luddite and needs a playable CD). Thanks in advance for your help.
  7. Hey everyone, Usually I burn my movies via Toast Titanium 11 but I decided to burn my audio music as well. The other day I am trying to burn a cd with multiple folders/playlists but I can't seem to arrange them in the order I want them to play, instead Roxio orders both my folders/playlists as well as the music in the folders in reverse alphabetical order. Is there any way to resolve this issue or is this how the way it functions? Thanks!
  8. I just installed Easy CD and DVD Burning 10.3.104, and un-installed the previous version from 2 or 3 years ago. In creating an audio cd, I'm trying to edit a song in the trim/fade option of the quick sound editor. I don't seem to be able to remove a piece from the middle of the song. I know the previous version allowed me to do this. I don't think they'd remove this option, so does anyone know how to do this?
  9. Occasionally there are drop-outs of the audio for a fraction of a second. When it occurs, it appears repeatable, and it is also present in the exported movie/slideshow. It is almost as if the audio file is corrupt, however it plays fine in other tools. I have tried encoding the audio with different bit rates, including VBR and the problem remains. When I edit the audio in the Videowave audio editor, the audio plays correctly. This is a roadblock to finishing a slideshow for a memorial service. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
