  1. Happy New Year gents and ladies; I have experienced an app crash numerous times while attempting to convert a .mts file to an .mp4 file. I've played the entire .mts file with VLC media player to verify [to the extent that that is possible with that method] that the source file has no errors in it; it doesn't, and plays with no hiccups to the end. I tried shutting down all the other apps on my desktop running Windows 7 to give VideoWave as much resource as it could get. Lastly, I rebooted my system with the thought that a reboot would clear out any lingering binaries remaining from incomplete housekeeping from the previous app crashes. I'm running a Pentium dual-core CPU ES300 @ 2.6 gHz with 8g of main memory. I'm running Windows-7 64bit operating system. Alternately, VideoWave hangs at the same position; and when it doesn't hang, it crashes with the following error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: VideoWave15.exe Application Version: Application Timestamp: 522f1588 Fault Module Name: StackHash_c5af Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.19045 Fault Module Timestamp: 56258e62 Exception Code: c0000374 Exception Offset: 000ced0b OS Version: 6.1.7601. 2. I put in about 20 WAV audio files. I click BURN and the "scale" on it immediately goes to 99% done, and then just grinds away doing nothing. I figure the Roxio software got corrupted or something, so I uninstall it, log out, log on, and reinstall it. It does the exact same thing.
  3. Where can I buy the HD/BD plugin for NXT2? I recently put a BD-burner intu my PC. But NXT2 doesnt offer me BD-handling. In the shop I only found the plugin for NXT3. I tried it but didnt work. I dont want to upgrade to NXT3, just update my NXT2. Thanks in advance! Regards Uli
  4. Hi, Am just using Web Video copy for the first time on a Win 7 pro 64 bit system with an NVidia GT610 video card. Unfortunately creator does not detect a video in the browser when it starts and waits with the 'please launch browser...' message in the capture window. This happens with ether IE11 (default) and Chrome browsers and different video sources: YouTube etc. There is a Roxio knowledgebase article for Nxt2 ad YouTube which recommends pausing video, changing resolution and restarting video, but this makes no difference in either IE or Chrome as Web video window just sits there saying 'please launch your browser to start viewing...' I'd be very grateful for any pointers to get this going Many hanks in advance
  5. I have installed Creator NXT@ on a Dell laptop. 8gb Ram, Win7 X64. I have created a video in VideoWave combining mp3 for the menu, jpeg photos and AVI video clips. When I burn the DVD it works fine in the drive of the computer. Putting it in a DVD player throws off a 'DISC ERROR.' I know it's not much to go on. Any ideas? Thanks.
  6. I have a movie that I recorded using my digital camera. I was able to convert it to a MPEG-2 file (eventually). I am now trying to convert it/burn it as a DVD movie using MyDVD. When I tell it to Burn to Disc, I get an error saying "8004520c Error while Encoding Movie 1". Any help/suggestions would great. Specs: Windows 8.1 Creator NXT2 Core i7 870 Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 All drivers are up to date.
  7. When clicking the the desktop shortcut to start Roxio Media Creator NXT2 Pro on a Windows 8 pc, the application starts to load and displays the splash screen, that lists all the modules that are loading. As soon as it gets to "Loading Roxio Media Creator NXT2 Pro", windows displays "Roxio Creaor has stopped working...." I have tried the following: 1) repair the installation 2) run as administrator 3) compatibility mode - windows 7 the program just crashed on load and there is no way to use roxio. Jan
