  1. Hello, I need help. So, I just got my dual monitors today and I'm so excited to start capturing. But I don't know what to do. I have one monitor connected to my GPU with and HDMI cable and the other monitor connected to the GPU with a VGA cable and DVI cable adapter connected to the GPU. I have no Idea what to do now. Do I plug it into my motherboard? I have an ASUS with DVI,VGA,Cables, andHDMI ports and an HP with VGA and DVI. My questions are: How do I record? How do I set it up? Specs in attached files. DxDiag.txt
  2. Hello, So i have been trying to set up sounds so that my roxio game capture records it. So basically i have this setup. I have a Asus G750JS-T4064H Gaming Notebook (HDMI Wire Output from Capture Card) Acer G246HL Abd 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor (HDMI wire from monitor to capture card imput)Acer Aspire V5 Touch Notebook Turtle Beach Headset X12 Roxio Game Capture HD PRO Do note that my monitor does not have any speakers at the back. I am trying to record my Gaming notebook. However I have no idea how to set it up despite looking at the manual countless of times. Also, audio seems to not function even though i can record the screen. I want it so i can record it on my acer aspire v5 touch notebook, and able to play the game on my notebook. (with sound) Please help! Thank you.
  3. Hi - just purchased a Roxio GameCap HD Pro as an interface to transfer video from DV cassettes to my PC. I have attached the an AV male into the DV Camera's female AV jack - the other end of the cable has a typical yellow, white and red composite cable set which I attached to the Roxio GameCap. I then used the cable that came with the GameCap to attach to a USB port on my PC. While I was able to pick up a signal when I played the tape on my DV Camera the footage comes through as black and white on the PC and also seems to be of a lower quality (lack of colour aside). I ruled out an issue with the DV Camera or AV/Composite cables as when I use the same cables to view the video play from the DV Camera on my TV (plugging into the red/white/yellow females on the TV) there is no issue with lack of colour or video quality. Any thoughts of what may be causing this? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi i have always wanted to record minecraft pc, but i never got a different software when i found out theres a way to record pc with my roxio. so i watched a few videos telling me how to do it and it seemed to work but for me it doesn't! For me it records for a couple of seconds the no signal! Is this cause i leave the capturing progamme to enter minecraft in full screen mode? I do that so the people don't see the roxio recording. the way i record the pc is plug in hdmi to tv from roxio and plug another hdmi cable from roxio to laptop showing my laptop screen on tv. Please help! i really want to record my pc
  5. I am getting a problem like I first encountered with my PS4. The screen is flickering or giving no signal at all as my Roxio Game Capture Pro on my PC. It did the same thing on my PS4. I disabled the PS4 HDCP and the capture is great. I am just wondering if there is a setting on my PC that is preventing me from capturing. It was easy on the PS4 to find HDCP, but I can't seem to find the problem on my PC. I can stream PS3 and PS4, I am just having trouble streaming PC. I would like to capture, Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online on my PC. Any help with this would be much appreciated. I have an Intel hd 4200 graphics card, it's 4000 series anyways. I have a Samsung series 5 Ultra laptop is the PC. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  6. Roughly 2 years ago, I got a Roxio HD Pro to use with my 360. Shortly after that, I got an HDTV so I could record in HD. All was going well, and I eventually moved on to recording my PC with the Roxio (connecting my laptop to the input and the TV to the output). This worked perfectly, but I did stop doing this for quite awhile. Fast forward to now, and I've decided to try recording some PC gameplay once again. I perform the same setup (with the same TV, laptop, Roxio, and cables as before), only to be met with this on my TV screen: "This TV does not support the output format, video resolution, and/or refresh rate being sent by the connected device." This perplexes me, because I can connect the TV straight to my laptop and it will display just fine. It's only when I'm trying to feed through the Roxio that I get this issue. Could it be due to an update that the Roxio has received? I haven't used it to try to record PC footage in over a year and a half, so I may have very well not seen some of these updates come to pass.
  7. Quick Map: Computer -> HDMI Output on Graphics Card -> HDMI Cord -> Capture Card Input -> Roxio GameCap HD Pro -> Capture Card Output -> HDMI Cord -> HDMI to DVI-D Adapter -> DVI-D Port -> Monitor Problem: I do the connection path above and my monitor screen has no DVI signal. It is black.
  8. I just installed my Roxio HD Pro to my computer abd have my input HDMI cable on my computer, and output HDMI cable on my T.V., the circle on the hardware lights up purple and the HDMI notch is also lit up purple. My desktop is showing up on my Tv screen but when I click on the PC Capture button on my software, nothing happens. All of the other buttons work such as Console Capture, and Edit & Share. I also notice that my TV isn't showing the whole screen, it cuts off the edges, and only records things i drag off the edge of the screen (To the right). If i could get someone like a Guru to answer those problem it would be great. Thanks

  10. Hi, my name is Austin, and I am a recent purchaser of your Game capture HD Pro.I was very excited to receive this, and upon purchase, I proceeded to attempt to record my pc gameplay. For my setup, I have one HDMI cable coming from the video output of the computer and into the input of the capture device. I have another cable running from the capture card's output into an HDMI-DVI converter, which is plugged into my monitor. I have my FireWire usb cable running from the capture card into the same PC that I have my HDMI's plugged into. When I open the Roxio capture program, I see my desktop background, but nothing more. No icons, shortcuts, mouse pointer, or anything. I attempted to run a game, play it for awhile, and then watch the recording, but the recording was nothing but my desktop background. No sound from the game either. I know the product is not defective. It worked on my Wii and ps3. Can you help me identify the problem?
  11. So ive had the Roxio HD pro for while ,and I already know how bad it is with its many problems, however iv been able to fix everything on my own and get it working for consoles, i recently built a pc and wanted to game on one computer with one monitor and record it on another computer with another monitor, so this is how i have it set up.......hdmi #1 plugged into Gaming pc's graphics card going to Roxio hdmi Input, hdmi #2 going from Roxio hdmi output to Gaming Monitor HDMI slot, REGULAR computer has Roxio device plugged in with software and drivers (updated) ......now when attempting to capture...REGULAR pc with regular monitor boots fine , GAMING pc doesn't have any display just a blue screen, when opening roxio software display is still blue....i tried the usual powerful uninstall of the software and drivers, and the usual install with antivirus disabled, but ive been using the product since release and im pretty sure i know what im doing that side. however i cant seem to get the pc capture working iv attached a diagram of the setup .
