I bought Roxio Creator in 2009 and loved it, but now, have a new computer w/Windows 8_OS. I'd like to install my Creator 2009 onto this computer and upgrade to the 2014 version. Is it possible to install and update, with my current system, or do I need to purchase and install a new Roxio Creator 2014?

Why is it that the most current updater file is NEVER available for direct download from the "Software Updates" page?
It just makes no sense to be chronically behind the curve with regard to updater files.
I know that we can update from within the app, but, sometimes, that's just not practical.
I have Creator NXT Pro installed on a Dell XPS with Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. When I try to update I get the message "Cannot find the product. Visit the Home Page." Some modules like the video capture appear to start but terminate with no error. Installation went normal with no errors and I've even reinstalled. Very Frustrated!
I have 3 problems with roxio
1.when i click options in the capture window the program stops working.
2.when i check for updates for the SP1 update it is not found nor is it not available at the main site
3. I am unable to change the input source from HDMI to component as it is grayed out.
any help will be greatly appreciated
